I did a Lore Facts video a long, long time ago on the Qiraji and the Nerubians. It's very outdated, but, nonetheless, you can find it here: • Warcraft Lore Facts - ...
Transcript is too long to fit the description, so you can find it here: docs.google.co...
You should probably follow me on twitter. @Teeironor
Started watching your videos about a week ago. This is another great one. Thanks!
We need to revisit the Qiraji and Silithid. I just love the lore
Tnx soo much!!!!! :) awesome video as always!!!
Great and informative video as always!
Amazing as always!!
I will miss Silithus greatly.
Epic as always 😀
Nice video
I would love to have an in-depth video on the void
one of the most intresting species.
Maybe some qiraji were under ground . And now that ...Spoiler
Sargeras "backstabbed" sithul . It is possible that he freed the qiraji and C`thun . Its just my theory.btw nice video intersting keep it up
Well, Ahn'Qiraj is a pretty vast complex, all things considered; and C'thun was defeated by about 40 people, not an army that could scour the place and find every qiraji hidden there.

Game mechanics are not canon.
"Adventurers" and quests are; and the quests which reference going into Ahn'Qiraj only reference "you" in either the singular and the plural (referring to the raid party).
But I will retract my previous comment, since I just remembered a quest (which I've used as source in the actual video lol) which basically said "Us bronze dragons will stick around, after you just defeated C'thun, to clear Ahn'Qiraj out."
Teeironor yeah . XD
Maybe when...SPOILER
sargeras "backstabbed" sithul he also could "mortall striked" C`thun and the qiraji . XD. And then the second old god would be dead or heavenly damaged. So it would be "EZ" to "shadow word: death " him . XD LOL
Would be nice if the Qiraji and the Silithid appeared again for the Silithus Rift thing.
Really like them better than the Mantid, but the Nerubians are excellent too.
Hey yo just wanna share this has been one of my favorite races since their conception way back when. However silithis has always been my favorite desert zone so much in fact that i traveled their when i was like 38 with my human proest and he pretty much stayed their for two years before i moved on. (I have other toons i would play and i used my human priest just to explore silithis) im a lottle concerned about losing silithis in the next expansion. Also one thing that bothers me is that while the mantid and neruibians have good and bad factions it seems the qiraji have always been evil. I do hope a group of them become a neutral faction and end up being interactive with the players as well the qiraji race start doing more. They genuinly are like my top five of races and zones respectively.
The mantid don't really have a "good" faction; they've always been subservient to the Old Gods. The Klaxxi only allied with us against a common enemy, the Sha. When Garrosh took the Heart of Y'shaarj, they followed him and turned against us.
As to the nerubians, it's, again, a situation where they allied with us against their common enemy, the Scourge in this case. It's worth mentioning, however, that the nerubians, while they are extremely xenophobic, are not subservient to the Old Gods. Quite the opposite, actually.
We don't really share a common enemy with any faction of qiraji (that we know of, at any rate). They've spent pretty much their entire history in direct service to C'thun (as opposed to the mantid or the nerubians, who've only had, at best, sporadic contact with the Old Gods), and, coincidentally, also hate all outsiders.
Teeironor oh i know Why they are how they are and yes i know the mantids were flaky friends so to speak. But like i just think their is potential for groups of these respective races to do more. It just it makes me sad when they invent cool races simply so we have an enemy. Like sure we gotta fight something but does a race as a whole always need to be against us? I dont think so. You know? Like i would like to see non hostile qiraji regardless if they are being flaky like the mantid or neurubians or not :) when i said good, i meant it as in good to the players, i know the story of the mantids and such :) but i appreciate the well informed reply
I get what you mean, yeah.
Woah what if C'thun is the overmind and the silithid are zerg 😱
Blizzard does have the habit of recycling plot lines from its other games. On the other hand, the idea of a hive-minded race controlled by a powerful being is older in fiction than Warcraft or Starcraft.
Lovely
