I did a ttrpg campaign as a librarian once. I even prepared the character sheets, a rule based from an actual ttrpg, and the adventure in separate documents, and we had a great time roleplaying inside a roleplay. A PAI activated and thought we were gambling at first, that was funny. Sad thing, we didn't get to finish because the room exploded into space.

Warden also takes over command if Hos for any reason is unavailable. ...Also in practice warden is usually responsible for reigning in overzealous officers and shitsecs, because you bet your ass Hos is not gonna bother unless it's really egregious. Warden is kinda like informal leader of officers, often more so than Hos is because Hos rarely stays in brig for long. But unlike Hos he has no formal command responsibilities so it really depends on server culture. Sometimes warden is respected almost as another department head, sometimes secs don't even notice him.
I learned the basics of stunning and cuffing, and not harm batonning from a Warden as well since there werent any senior officers and the HoS couldn't be fu- I mean "delegated" my training to the Warden. He then sent me on patrol and I got robusted by a syndie reinforcement.

As a Senior anything, i'm not the boss of you, I'm just here to show you the ropes. Now if CE's dead, I've seen Senior Engineers step up and take the CE's place, but the whole department voted them in, and the Captain had to approve it.
They're first among equals. You aren't _obliged_ to listen to them but if it's regarding engineering-specific tasks you probably should, unless you believe they're an antag.
The first job I ever mained in space station is botanist, as I found the basics easy enough to grasp. (put seed in planter, don't let plant die.) and I eventually started getting into the more advanced bits such as splicing and mutations, (producing explosive tomatoes was always really fun (and I may or may not have spaced botany while in a firefight with a vampire after a chain reaction started after one of the tomatoes landed a bit too close to the main pile I had of them) I haven't played all too much of the game but I'm starting to pick up on the more complicated roles like engi

There should be some kind of sanity mechanic that goes down when: 1 you see a dead body, 2 you see someone die,3 you use certain items,4 you inhale toxic fumes,etc. And goes up when: 1, you use certain items like a comedy book or happy pill,2 clown does something goofy in your view,3 you inhale certain chemicals like laughing gas, 4 psychologist does some kind of new action when you are sitting, or lyi ng down, etc

Absolute bullshit. I play a gremlin Doctor named Sadako who's borderline self antag and they don't care cuz im in character and still doing my job for the most part. The only ban I've ever got was for straight up kidnapping HoS cuz I thought he was a Syndie (i was new) and even then they were gonna slap me on the wrist but I had logged out so they considered that "ban evasion" and gave me back privs once I actually explained myself. The only people that get banned are mistakes or outright shitters who will kill a clown in cold blood then wonder why they are banned from Sec, lmfao.
@@ZigealFaust That is far from true, Wizden admins will ban you for the most trivial of things, then let major rule breakers go free. Their enforcement is inconsistent and petty, and is a routine complaint from many people.
My job as clown is to collect every strange pill I find in maints and eat them all at once at the front desk of med, and watch the doctors freak out.

this is super useful for sec cadets because yes you need to know how the station works not just how to stun someone
