07:14 two of my Syrian hamsters used to open that box the same way. It´s especially "fun" when you drive to the vet and hear this popping sound of the lid in the back of the car.... So please whoever is reading this, don´t use those boxes for your hamster or at least don´t leave them unsupervised.

Victoria, you do sooo much work giving your animals a nice, healthy home and it is just heartwarming to finally see a big home for your hamsters and bunnies which are usaully misunderstood for smaller homes, THANK YOU!! You inspire me to one day do the same 🫶🫶🫶 you know in the spring I had rabbits in my backyard and they were wild and I wasnt sure if I could touch them so I didnt and they actually got really close! I gave them a variety of foods including carrots, cucumbers, like $10 mix from the stores (all ingredients safe) and they didnt like anything but one thing : apples! they didnt eat anything else but apples, same for the deer! I gave it in small amounts and everyday I would check on them and they would get really close to me...they even had babies which I had to keep an eye on, THERE WERE LIMPING RACCOONS, EVEN A RED ONE! I miss those moments.. even named them. But guys, im not really sure if this is ok to do because they kind of rely on you for food but mine were pretty independent and usually doing their own thing! Sorry this is so long, you dont have to read all of it ‼️ P.S : MY BACKYARD IS A FRICKIN ZOO AND I FEEL LIKE I DISNEY PRINCESS NOW LOL

I know you get these comments a lot but I thought I would share with everybody anyways! my Russian dwarf hamster started out in a teeny tiny critterville arcade that my mom bought on amazon. I got a hamster for my 13th birthday, my mom bought the cage and hamster for me, when I started watching your vids then it hit me that my hamster was showing stress signs because the cage was too small, he was chewing on the bars and monkey barring which I thought nothing of until watching your 25 hamster behaviors video, I convinced my parents to let me use my grandpas old aquarium to make a cage, and I did it was still under the bare minimum but still an upgrade because I could give him lots of bedding to burrow in (the amazon cage could not provide that) then my sister who had also gotten a hamster and had it living in an extremely small cage upgraded to the criterville arcade (not much more room) she decided after a few months that she didn't want him anymore and was going to get rid of him, I told her I would take him, and that I did, I made my other hamster a bin cage (510 sq inches of floor space) and moved my sisters hamster into the aquarium with was better then the last cage! I know it's not much but im still a kid and I really do try to give my hamsters the best life possible they are both aggressive towards me because I believe they are hybrid dwarfs. I hope that one day I can make my hamster cages as good as yours! your channel has inspired me to start my own channel!! thank you sooooo much for making such amazing content!!!
I'm glad to hear that you're giving the hamsters the best life possible! I'm 38, and there was obviously no RUclips when I was growing up. I've had Syrian hamsters since I was 10 years old. My "big cage" back then was too small, maybe 1/3 the size of the Savic Hamster Heaven Metro I currently have. My hamsters spent all night chewing the bars. But due to a lack of knowledge, I had no clue that it was a sign of stress. I'm really happy that kids like you at least have access to good pet care information, like RUclips videos. I feel bad that the hamsters I had during my childhood didn't have adequate space, but I didn't know any better.
Hi Victoria I previously just made a bin cage with 478 square inches which is a massive upgrade from my previous 93 square inch pets at home cage and I wouldn’t have know any enrichment and proper care such as bedding depth , sprays etc so thank you

My Dedenne just passed today I already miss her like crazy I wish hamsters lived longer. She didn’t even make it to her second birthday. And I was hoping she would’ve still been here during thanksgiving. But I knew it was coming because she was getting slower and slower, plus she didn’t eat her food or treats for three days but she was still alive until this morning.
@@VictoriaRaechel awww thank you so much. She was the sweetest we had a great bond I knew she didn’t like being held so I never forced it, she loved pets though. Deedee came out once she would hear my voice she only came out for me. She loved treats and of course she loved her wheel.

I have the exact same carrier, and my male long haired Syrian hamster does the exact same thing...lol! He chews the lid like mad, until he manages to pop it open. I can't leave him unattended in it while I clean his enclosure because I'm afraid he'll jump out and hurt himself!

I have a male long haired syrian as well and he is just as messy, it's insane. The dig box mess, the spray destroying, the bedding everywhere. I've had female syrians and their cages weren't even half as messy lol

the liquid could be salmon oil. It‘s very good for the fur!
