The fact that Usher doesn't have as many babies as Nick Cannon shows some REAL constraint in Usher's character. He could have all the babies and we would collectively just be like " I get it"
I’m so behind and I’m just catching up. Absolutely LOVED this episode. I was WAITING for Nice & Slow and it never happened 😭😭😭 We definitely need a part two.
Listened to Usher non stop for 6 days after hearing this podcast! Can't wait for the next episode!!! Love this podcast and everything and everyone to do with it!!
completely understand that you can only cover so much in one episode but not even mentioning More, DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love, Somebody to Love, I Don’t Mind, No Limit, etc. is actually criminal
I love this so much. The pre-9/11 R&B quote resonates so hard, though I’d cut off more like 2007. Post 9/11 we still had some amazing albums and debuts from Ciara, Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Amerie, and more to come in the next few years. But the late 2000s did see the well dry up of R&B’s two decades long heyday.
I used to have all of ushers tv performances recorded on my dvr n i memorized all of them n would force my family n friends to watch me perform usher for hours. He is a king.
Finally a group of people who appreciate Ursher baby as much as I do! I was in 5th grade when I bought the Confessions album. And if you guys remember it came with a poster of him shirtless. I legit took that to school to show my friends but I didn’t want it to get confiscated so I hid it in my shoe 😆 I ended up with a sweaty worn out poster by the end of the day ☠️
This was genuinely one of my favorite episodes - as a fellow child of TRL, i felt every word spoken lol We need a part 2!! Justice for Somebody to Love, Hey Daddy and Climax!
it's funny Garick mentions that he'd be singing in the rain if he could dance and sing like Usher cause Usher recreated the Singin in the Rain dance (and he nailed it)
I love that I found this video after learning that Usher is going to be the performing artist at the Superbowl. I feel that no one knows Usher's discography nor appreciates it!
Lol funny they mention that line from u remind me because this was the first usher song I ever heard (I was 10/11) and it always stuck with me because of that line lol. I had never heard someone say a line like that in a song.
Confessions is top 3 best rnb albums of all time! 1. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, 2. The Diary of Alicia Keyes, 3. Confessions. I don't make the rules!
I LOVED confessions. Came out when I was in middle school, related every song to the boy I liked 😂 Confessions and The Diary of Alicia Keys defined those years for me
Zach, Kelsey, and Garrick! Please do an episode on The Chimp Channel! I know it is a problematic piece of media, but since we're in the middle of the strike, what better time to talk about a hilarious and horrible tv show from TBS? Because technically, all the actors are chimps...
The instant the music started my non-existant uterus woke up and said HELLO!! I have to pause this for a bit because now I HAVE to do some edibles. ROFLMAO!!!!
Confessions is the first album that i ever spent my own money on! I love his music so much. Has been in my spotify wrapped top 5 since they started doing that!

😂
This is the best comment ever existed!!!😂😂
I didn’t expect an Usher episode but I couldn’t be more here for it. The man is an ICON and I feel like he’s somehow still underrated.
This may be one of my fav episodes because of the pure joy Usher has brought us all
the excitement in the intro just fueled my whole week ❤️🔥 also glad the see the crew all together this ep!
Miles making me cackle during the podcast per usual 😂 Usher defined a generation.
I’m so behind and I’m just catching up. Absolutely LOVED this episode. I was WAITING for Nice & Slow and it never happened 😭😭😭 We definitely need a part two.
Need an Usher part 2! There’s so much left!!!!!
Listened to Usher non stop for 6 days after hearing this podcast! Can't wait for the next episode!!! Love this podcast and everything and everyone to do with it!!
Saw Usher as the opening act for Janet Jackson on the Velvet Rope tour, and I just gotta say daaaaaaaaaamn…. He was on top of his game from the jump.
completely understand that you can only cover so much in one episode but not even mentioning More, DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love, Somebody to Love, I Don’t Mind, No Limit, etc. is actually criminal
I need them to make a part 2 🤞🏽
Kelsey summed it up best "I am unwelllll"

ITS ONLY RIGHT FOR GARRICK
YESSSS!!!
And Prayer that song is literally alien !!
I’m a huge fan of Mic the Snare and was introduced to D’Angelo from his video essay. Such an incredible musician
Remembering how my 4th grade bus went absolutely FERAL and sang in unison to "Yeah!" whenever it came on the radio before school
I never realized how usher was basically an icon in my childhood. His music has changed us all
I understand this was covering is older songs..but other songs like Climax is *chef's kiss*
please do a follow up episode to discuss the superbowl performance!
It was hilarious to see this episode, click immediately while singing Yeah myself and basically having the pod join in 😂
I need your commentary on The Bear!!
If and when the strike ends, they might talk about it.

Turned this on to pass the time while waiting for urgent care to open and I was not disappointed
Usher was the first album I ever bought for myself when I was 12. I feel so old.
This was genuinely one of my favorite episodes - as a fellow child of TRL, i felt every word spoken lol
We need a part 2!! Justice for Somebody to Love, Hey Daddy and Climax!
I've never wanted to be on a Guilty Pleasure's episode more
love how giggly they are in this ep!!! :)))
Is no one gonna mention when Let It Burn was used in The Boondocks
To answer the question about the milk the cow line in Yeah, I believe it is a reference to esophageal activities 😂

it's funny Garick mentions that he'd be singing in the rain if he could dance and sing like Usher cause Usher recreated the Singin in the Rain dance (and he nailed it)

Usher's Vegas show is still one of the best things that I've ever seen live!
I’m so happy this is back up!!!! 😂😂😂 I tried to see it earlier and it had a copyright thing on it 😅

Trading Places is the reason I lean over to open my man’s door. I was like, that makes sense. Legit shocked him the first time I did it!

Lol funny they mention that line from u remind me because this was the first usher song I ever heard (I was 10/11) and it always stuck with me because of that line lol. I had never heard someone say a line like that in a song.

I knew Zach liked R&B when he referenced Blu Cantrell!
Waiting for the nickelback episode
Confessions is top 3 best rnb albums of all time! 1. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, 2. The Diary of Alicia Keyes, 3. Confessions. I don't make the rules!

Imma listen in a minute, but my husband just introduced me to the music of Crispin Glover - of Back To The Future fame. It's, interesting 😄
Kevin’s heart by Jcole is like Confessions! It’s about Kevin Hart’s infidelity.
I would love to see an episode on the music of the muppets OR nickelback
SO EXCITED
How did you guys not review the new Usher song??
Wait, Jermaine Dupree? I had no idea... Is this song about when he dated Janet Jackson!?!?!?!?!
Is the confessions album low key a Jenny Han book?
rihanna- unfaithful
Keep with the music even after the strike ends, may I recommend a “boy group" from the 90’s who are not mentioned enough these days. BOYS II MEN.
Usher is the man and his latest song is 🔥 📛 👨🚒 🚒 ❤
Yes My Boo is so gooood❤
