    You know , after yrs and yrs of running 40s on stock Dana 44 axles with absolutely no problems, it makes you wonder if anyone of these people whom comment on such things even owns a jeep 🤷🤷. I beat the hell outta mine, from deep mud holes, running power lines, acting crazy on trails, etc. 97 % of people are not professional rock crawlers, hell we don't even live anywhere near such places, all this sales hype, uneducated verbage is just plain wrong, if you don't know what your talking about then don't comment. Great looking gladiator 👍👍👍👍 keep running them 40s you can't run bro😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

    I found this video very insightful. I’m looking to get a Jeep Gladiator and put it on 37s or even 40s. I’ve been worried about 40s because everyone keeps saying you need 1 tons.😂 I live in South Africa, so getting Dana 60s costs half my country’s GDP and it’ll probably take forever to arrive🤣 It’s not as simple for some of us to do axle upgrades.
    So I’ll get the 40s on stock axles and wait for them to break (if they ever), then get the Dana 60s😂

    Hopefully you've been updated by now that the gear change was a Huge impact on not impacting the whole driveline, not just the axles, with the 40's torque loading the system. It releived torque load pressure.
    Because most don't mechanically know all that is impacted and why by OEM changes.

    I can give you one piece of advice. Don't supercharge it. I've had nothing but problems with my Magnuson install. Had the install done by a licensed dealer. It is so herky jerky and unreliable we no longer drive the jeep anymore. both A-hole dealers here in Tampa have a "Two week wait" just to get the vehicle in. I've had the installer get the newest tune and still it runs like shit. The jeep is ruined. $130k later and I wish I never bought it.

    I am routinely running my gladiator as fast as I can over some knarly whoops and am currently on 38" tires.. I did end up bending my stock Dana into a happy face with and bent back.. so when I keep hearing it is fine with 40" it just leaves me wanting to try... So my question is do you drive fast offroad and greatly appreciate all your posts

  • @JeepCherokeeful
    @JeepCherokeeful 2 года назад

    Right, some people drive off a road, some people rock crawl, and some people are rough on equipment! Your results will vary. Obviously novice off roaders such as this couple just don’t have the experience to make a judgement on stock axles. Nor the mileage.

    • @shockerracing
      @shockerracing  2 года назад +1

      We never will claim or have claimed to be professional off-roaders, but we have hit plenty of trails around the country that have had everything from rocks, to mud, and sand and have yet to have an issue. But yes, you are correct we don’t treat it like you Cherokee owners treat your vehicles.
