Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble is a platformer based on Looney Tunes cartoon series, it was released in 1996 for the Mega Drive and Game Gear. The Mega Drive version was developed by Atod AB and published by Sega.
Similarly to 1994's Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse, the levels are mainly based on individual Bugs Bunny cartoons from Warner Bros.'s Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series, stringing them together by having Bugs trapped in a "Televisor" created by Yosemite Sam as a mad scientist. Seven of the levels are based on the Bugs Bunny cartoons Duck! Rabbit, Duck!, Bully for Bugs, Knighty Knight Bugs, Hare-Abian Nights, Spaced Out Bunny, Mad as a Mars Hare, and Hare-Way to the Stars, while the other level, entitled Haunted Hare, is based on elements of Bewitched Bunny and Hair-Raising Hare.
This game is also very similar to Daffy Duck Goes to Hollywood, but a bit easier. It suffers from the same problem as well: with fast movement and limited vision, you end up either stopping and looking around after each step or blindly rushing into danger, unless you remember the level layout. But at least here the gameplay is more varied, and you don't have to look for ridiculous secrets to get the best ending.
Played on Hard difficulty.

Just hearing that music on the title screen and throughout the introduction gives me a huge jolt of nostalgia. This game is good overall, but very challenging in some levels.
@@shoutingmuteness3902 That's very nice of you to tell me. Thank you very much for the compliment. 💕

I did played this game back in
1996 when the lifespan for
Sega Genesis started to discontinue
after “Sonic 3D Blast” became it’s
last game afterwards, which it
was just okay but sorta like it.
Some of the music in this game is pretty catchy ngl
Crazy dream doc, from my previous adventures.... :/ - Bugs Bunny after woke up the morning.
AMAZING GRAPHICS.
This game came out on my birth year (well, after this game was released), and it came out three months before the release of Space Jam.
Sega’s answer to Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rampage, Mickey Mania, Donkey Kong Country, or any combination of the three.
And possibly also Kirby Super Star.
MY CHILDHOOD!!!! I actually got this game on my birthday when I was in kindergarten. Ironically enough this video uploaded the week of my birthday!!
The credits theme always brings a tear to my eye 😥even as a child.
Honestly I don't know what story line there is, but it still want to play it
The plot is about Bugs dreaming that he's in a haunted house of sorts, then visits a magic television machine that transports him to his old cartoons, then has to escape the haunted house and into outer space and defeat the true villain Marvin the Martian.
Yeah, the plot doesn't make sense but it's justified with it being only a dream and all. Still doesn't explain the giant carrot at the end though.
Fun fact about bully for bugs in mega drive is bull while in game gear version is lion but goes same level
4:49 Okay, I don't know why, but why do I find Daffy's movement very fitting to the background music?
17:07 *Bruh moment*

Bugs Bunny in... Donkey Kong Country? I'm not a big fan of the graphics.
