I hate it when reviewers say everything is great. The ground clearance on this is the least I have seen on any scooter. So don’t say the ground clearance is great because that detracts from the fact this is the lightest 4 wheel scooter on the market.
There’s another practically identical one called the M lite. Except for colours you can’t tell them apart. It’s the same compact design and weight. As has been pointed out elsewhere, the ground clearance is poor at only 1” or so which means it will ground on any large stones or bumps in its path. Really only suitable for smooth tarmac. No back support either. At 17 kg it’s not the lightest as is claimed and is a fair weight for some to lift into a car boot. We both have to lift it in. Otherwise it’s a safe, pleasant, easy to use mobility scooter. The SmartScoot S1200 is a lighter alternative at 13 kg ( minus seat & battery) with much better ground clearance and turning circle, 3 speeds, and a strong stainless steel frame. It also has a back support which the Minimus and M lite is lacking.
Depends what you need it for. The Smartscoot is a pain in the neck to assemble and disassemble especially if you're traveling in planes trains and automobiles all over Europe.
This is not for everyday use around the house and the community. You will need a heavier, more comfortable scooter for that. This is for traveling. Planes trains and automobiles. Trip to Europe, Asia, America, cruises. That's why it's lightweight.

I'm in the market for one of these, my main concern that gets me is, is that tiny back support sufficient?
Any back rest extension? Also could you put you feet on it flat when riding it? Thank you.

What’s the ground clearance on the Minimus I have one but dare not use it due to curb’s I have near me
