A really enjoyable review to watch. I was an early adopter of the PowerEgg X, purchasing the full kit last February, and as an early adopter I experienced a few teething problems. The big issue was it wouldn’t work with my Samsung S7 and the 4K video appeared to be dropping frames even though I was using a very fast R/W memory card. The great thing about Powervision is their exceptional after sales customer support, being in the UK I was dealing with their office in Finland. I opened a ticket via their webpage and within a few minutes received a response from a real person, and not someone working from a script but someone who understood the product. My concerns were passed back to the developers and a few days later a firmware fix for the video issue was released. The Samsung issue took a bit longer as this was due to the chipset used in some European Samsung devices. I’m a bit of a drone nutjob, I have close to 100 in my fleet ranging from small 2inch race freestyle machines up to a 1200 size hexacopter carrying a DSLR, but I’ve found the PEX the most enjoyable to fly and use for photography. Very recently my PEX started having issues whereby it wasn’t recognising that the arms were connected and so would only work in AI-Camera Mode. I opened up a ticket and again the response was very quick. After a couple of back and forths they decided to replace the complete kit, including the waterproof kit, with a new system, and my PEX was collected by a courier the next day. My replacement is currently making its trip to the UK. In contrast I had an issue with a DJI product back in 2014 that they promised to rectify, that is still sat on my shelf gathering dust.
