EXIT is the two-time winner of the “Best Major European Festival” award along with the continuous recognition by the global music stars, fans and media alike.
Held each year at the 18th Century colossal Petrovaradin Fortress in the city of Novi Sad in Serbia, EXIT started as a student movement whose massive protests brought down the oppressive regime in Serbia. EXIT became the first mass event to gather all the people in Balkans after a long decade of divisions.
Celebrated as a place where hedonism meets activism, it is the social relevance of EXIT that has made it unique and globally recognized hosting stars like The Prodigy, Arctic Monkeys, Madonna, The Killers, Sex Pistols, Guns’n’Roses, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Patti Smith, Motorhead, LCD Soundsystem, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, Andy C, DJ Shadow, and countless many more at 30+ stages in nearly two decades since its inception in 2000. People who got to see this live might as well have seen a golden unicorn shortly thereafter...total gift to the world here. Probably the best percussion section any band has had the pleasure of having. Refosco is a legend in his own right, not to mention that the names of R.E.M, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, and David Byrne all are attached to this eclectic group of musicians. Calling them a "supergroup" would be a stunning minimization.
Some people probably did see a golden unicorn. Depends on how "good they were feeling" 😉☮️

A spiritual experience indeed.
FUN FACT: The instrument played on The Clock is called Berimbau, it's an Angolan instrument made traditional in the Brazilian martial art/dance/sport called Capoeira. It was very well placed in this insane version of the song!

The live version of Amok is seriously one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen
Much better than the album. Flea has more to do here than in the recordings
It gives me chills and goose bumps every time without fail. One of my all time favourite live recordings. 100 times better than the album version.

This version "Ingenue" is the best of all. This song will remain in my top for the rest of the day

flea plays the AFP tunes perfectly. But I don't think he could replicate Colin's style if he played any of Radiohead's tunes

Both are having fun out of their massive global bands. Flea spoke several times about loving RHCP but feeling a little bit trapped. I do enjoy AFP because you feel they are jamming for the love & peace that music can bring us. And the incredible groove helps.

Excellent. I have often wondered what Flea would sound like in a different band. I love early Chilli Peppers but I feel like his immense talent isn’t fully realized in that band. John Frusciante was equally talented and I’m glad to see him back. Working with Thom Yorke who is infinitely more talented than Anthony Kiedis makes a huge difference as well.
I always wanted to see Thom singing 'Rabbit in your headlight' live. That was beautiful.

playing this kind of uptempo music which was written at the computer first by Thom for a 2 hours long concert must be fucking exausting. Fact that players of the fame of Flea and Waronker decided to do this show how much respect they have for him. Mind all the music came out of his own mind. They took no part in creating it, they're just playing it.

To this day this is my fav live performance i've been to. Everyone went crazy for the sound, and the technicians did an incredible job that day.
