I knew Kevin prior to him joining the neighborhood. Kevin was influenced by me, his peers and a few of the older Homies. The lifestyle was very influential to kids who came from broken homes. When I heard Kevin I went to jail. It broke my heart, because I was already matured mentally from the lifestyle. The gang lifestyle is very addictive and traumatizing. I’ve seen many of my peers and family fall victim by either death or incarceration. I pray that Kevin gets to come home to his children. Everybody grows up one day and regrets the choices that they made in their youth. Much love Kev.

Since you influenced him by setting a bad example, what are you doing to help him now? How many letters of support have you sent him? Do you check in to see if his kids need help? Your prayers are nothing but empty words if there's no actions behind them.
@ I actually just found a way to get in touch with him. Also, I’ve been battling with the exception of the street life as well. I just got out of jail last year and I am operating my own construction company. When he comes home, I will definitely have a job for him or any other of my homeboys that fell victim to the trap of street life
@BryanHarris-eb1xo The fact that you've come home, started your own business and are in a position to bless others is Outstanding. Congratulations to you. Keep up the good work! 🙌
Los Angeles is a jungle if you didn’t grow up there, you wouldn’t understand.. what got me is he said we’re all the same we’re just from different counties and in my mind at most we are 15 miles away from each other. We are the same, but it’s hard to understand that when you live in a jungle.
Great interview! Can you please make the interviews longer, and can you interview ex AB drop-out members? I would like to know how it was in the gang compared to out of the gang. Please interview ex BGF, MM, and NF members also. I know active gang members can not be interviewed. Thank you.
Hell, some of these inmates are getting their bachelor's degrees and Master degrees, so that's some reading for reals Some just don't try to do something different and be a better person, some do, some don't
