It's been very fun revisiting Planet Coaster through its sequel, and I hope yous have been enjoying the videos of it. Been trying to upload a bit more regularly lately before the year is out, as I've had to take a lot of time off due to sickness. Thanks as ever for the kind words and support

The drop slide pool being about 6 feet deep might be the most underrated part. True Minecraft logic on display here
The fact no one died immediately from the surface tension of the water is a miracle in its own right

Fun fact about the first flume ride, when Dan was testing it, the mannequin dropped out and fell because the slide wasn't finished building, and almost the exact FRAME it hit the ground, the stream crashed in perfect comedic timing

Ah yes ,my favorite ride: the 15g waterslide that boils your skin off before sending you to the backrooms
I rode that one and was reduced to a puddle that became indistinguishable from the water it landed in.
I think the funniest bit is that the surface tension from falling from the higher ones would probably just physically turn the guest's bodies into a puddle the moment they hit the water

Welp, that has me questioning ‘does blood float in water’ and now that I’ve thought that, I would very much rather unthink that
surface tension is sort of irrelevant, the problem is that water is incompressible

The roller coaster inside the Massive Enormous Hole does make me think how cool it would be to have a theme park just inside a gigantic cave

Would be cool! Unfortunately, if a fire were ever to break out, the whole thing would turn into a giant smoke-filled coffin for all your guests, for multiple reasons.

There's a bunch of indoor theme parks in Dubai, and some of them are pretty dark inside cuz they're fully covered. That's as close as we'll get probably.

The guests ascending up the stairs to the water slide made my stomach hurt from laughing

I'm pretty sure that in reality you'd be ejected from the ride in one of the many turns. It's just that PC 2 on standard settings doesn't do that.
the epilepsy warnings are genuenly some of the best ive ever seen like holy shit, I just got really dizzy cuz of all the spinning but the warnings made it very clear when it was over and I was able to look back

I find it nice how Dan labeled the part around 11:46 as flashing imagery and it's one of the tamest instances of flashing imagery I've seen in a while. Still very nice of him to make sure everyone who's watching is okay though.

The flashing image warnings and their snippets of future dialogue also function great as horrific foreshadowing
My dad knows a lot about construction, math, etc. I out of curiosity asked him about the water slide at 7:42, and he said realistically the person is dead pretty much as soon as they hit 10gs from the brain losing all of its oxygen due to the blood essentially going down with gravity away from the brain to the legs. So the people were dead WAYY before they even SAW the pool at the bottom, and said that unless you’re like SUPER MEGA ULTRA trained AND wearing a sort of special suit, they’d be dead.

Imagine being the attendant at the top, standing there and knowing those climbers who made it to the summit are about to wilfully commit death by waterslide. They're just there, powerless, helpless but to watch those damned pilgrims plummet to their doom.
