Hopefully the MDT Field stock will have left hand offerings at some point. There are literally no left hand aftermarket stock options for Ruger Predators, one of the highest selling rifles on the market.
Pricing in the industry overall is insane. These people think they can sell items for 2x what they sold for 2 years ago. I think we are going to see a lot of small vendors collapse due to low sales.
Both are HK416 clones so… the reality is your Sig 516 looks like the HK416. But yeah… 🤷♂️ Supposedly the 816 improves on both and all for $1800. I’m ordering several to do some testing and we’ll see. Thanks for watching! -Gary

It is “advanced” or at least different and supposedly does work better. Ray over at X Ring shot it a bunch in UAE and was impressed with realizability and function. SHOT obviously isn’t the place to break down guns and give a detailed explanation of all the intricate features. I did. I think the Caracal rifles and sub guns were the best and most interesting thing I saw all week. A hard use rifle that improved on the HK416 for $1800 and their CMP9 which rumored to be better and more reliable than the MP5 for $1500… nothing else interested me more.

Heard the 816 is made by the same engineers that made the 516. So no surprise there. Love my 516. Thinking of picking up an 816.
