this mod is actually really good. even though the beginning shows sonic's quills spiked like shadows and his foot going through the rail, everything is great. Character animations, voices and actions, even the end of the battle was great. I like it

Canonically, Sonic and Shadow hit stalemate in every fight. SO please.. don't go there. Everybody wins, okay? They're just as good as each other, they balance each other out by weighing their abilities against one another. If anything, they're much better as a team.
But my question is when I play sonic generations going against shadow why does he performs his tricks fast?
Honestly there’s no point in even trying one up the other
Shadow's incredibly fast as well. Sonic could probably outrun him with enough effort, but it would be a close race in any case. Shadow's profile in Sonic Generations states he shares Sonic's speed and agility... and makes no mention of his hover shoes helping him in that regard. He also states in Sonic Colors that he would leave all the running around to Sonic, which causes Omega to ask why he would do that since his data suggested their abilities were equal.

DUDE!!! Not only do I find it awkward how we keep meeting up in these videos, but in Sonic Adventure 2 Sonic and Shadow fought. Obviously Sonic won, and since Shadow's basically immortal, Shadow didn't die. He just used chaos control to escape probably. So Sonic did beat Shadow.
Cutscene looks SLIGHTLY odd, but this mod looks amazing. =D
I never understood why shadow got to have a boost trail while sonic just gets sparkles…
I believe you mean the Chaos Spear when you mentioned “sparkles”, well the reason why Shadow doesn’t have Chaos Spear in this mod is likely because it’s probably impossible to give the player that ability.
@@0vxx oh no, I’m specifically talking about the boost animations and their particle effects. If you look closely, you’ll see that in generations, Sonic’s boost had a trail of some partial sparkle effects, while Shadow’s trail looks more like a tron bike. To me, Shadow’s looks better because of the sense of speed it conveyed, and oddly enough it hasn’t been present in the game for Sonic in particular despite it being present in other titles such as rush, or frontiers with the power boost

In reality, if it wasnt for sonics plot armour, shadow would crush him. Shadows much stronger than sonic and matches his speed exactly. On top of that, shadow is even faster. This is because hes so powerful he has to limit him self with the ring inhibitors. He also has access to far more chaos powers than sonic does. And he can access the exact same forms. He needs a new game for himself.
Shadow the Hedgehog was just a edgy mess. He really does need a new game.
Shadow almost died using the Chaos emeralds in SA2, plus he even admits that Sonic is the ultimate lifeform, making him much more powerful than Shadow himself
@@gaetanogabriele905 shadowed almost died in sa2 brcause of plot, it had nothing to do with the emeralds. And shadows description even says “matches Sonics agility and speed”, and he’s got way way way more abilities than sonic does. He’s even fucking KILLED sonic in one of his games as an ending.
@@Codyiguess he killed Sonic in a non canon ending. And I don't think Shadow can access all of Sonic's forms: as far as i know, he can only transform into super Shadow.
@@Codyiguess I like to think that while shadow is a bit more powerful, sonic is a bit faster, if we're comparing them in their base forms. Even so, Shadow does say that Sonic is the ultimate lifeform in SA2, not him.

I wish they used 'It Doesn't Matter' for when Sonic powers up, and 'Live and Learn' to share between the two hedgehogs in the boss fight. 'All Hail Shadow' can stay the same for Shadow.

i just wish they didn't ignore Sonic's Sonic Wind attack- a Chaos power/Wind Power he created in answer to the original Chaos Spear (both moves summoned out of thin air and chasing opponents)- Sonic wouldn't go on to use powers like that until Frontiers

Well I said that because in Sonic story Silver still manage to get him off guard. Oh and about the shoe thing, it true. It mention in the first game manual. It just never been part of gameplay outside of Sonic Labyrinth. Outside of that, it really never was mention much
Shadow has proven to be a way more powerful character than Sonic. Shadow in a death fight would kill Sonic with ease. It clearly shown through Shadow's actions. this is a fight with no emeralds and Supers, because super forms are equally as powerful so can determine that.
I know but here's the thing. Generations, Cronicals and Battle are non cannon games. In the real games there battles were draws. In SA2B The fight between Sonic and Shadow on the ark was a draw. Pritty much every fight between them on that game was a draw.
Most of there fights end in draws. SA2B Sonic and Shadows battle on the ark was a draw. Sega confermed that.

That's because it IS the SA2 fight but bigger and not in a straight line. That's what Sonic Generations is. It's a greatest hits remix game
