      Bob, I love your comments
You being a flute maker, brings a level of understanding that others simply cannot have without actually doing the creation. Thank you.

Brent and Madison, I can't even come close to affording any of your flutes since they have increased 5-10x in price, but I'm so glad to have One of them, purchased years ago used for a reasonable price. It's from your very early days, since you actually hand inscribed in ink your Woodsounds name plus the key (Low Eb). Thank you for making your beautiful creations!

Jason, Thank you so much. The true reality is that we love being able to be this special musical part of peoples lives. We love doing it the very best we can. Currently we have been working on creating different options for people to choose on a particular flute. Perhaps having three different finishes that allow a person to decide if they truly want to the benefits of finishes that cost us a huge difference in labor. I am still working on pricing and it will be a month or two before I am ready to release. But I think of you and know your name. Much love.

This is fantastic, and props to you both for making the family shop work, I'm a (learning) fine woodworker by night but I'm also a gc by day and I work alongside my father and brother and we have our moments for sure, but there is so much functionality that takes place on site that wouldn't happen otherwise simply because its so easy to communicate with someone you know as well as your immediate family

I sand down on lathe there's no chance of chip out on burl or crotch wood

yes somethings I sand down on a lathe. But for the flutes and thernon rounbd shape in the voice box area, the best tool we have found for sanding is a disk sander. Mirka is the bombdigity!

So glad all of the Native American Indians had a full machine shop to make flutes that sound better than yours. Oh, that’s right, they did it by hand. How do I know? I’m Native and live in the middle of the second largest Reservation in the U.S…Flutes are most impressive when it’s made entirely by hand. Now THATS impressive. A full blown machine shop made flute is not. Not saying they are pretty or sound good, just not at all impressive. Anyway, it’s great you get to work with your kid but the whole production process is underwhelming.

Tony, not sure what you are upset about. I make the best product I can in the hopes it will uplift those who play them and those who hear them. I promise you, if you were here with me, you would not be saying the things you are, This is a labor of love. I wish you the best and hope life brings you music.
