They were only able to use short moves on the final because they used all their other moves on their recent matches, there moves can only be used once in a battle and cannot be repeated but you can do,it just wont work the same
2:39 this thing about Victor some people don't get it. This footwork is considered easy for a lot of people but it's executed with such a perfection that heavies as much as a Powermove Combo
I'm a pretty big fan of Lee. Such originality and charisma. And shame too, it came down to just 1 vote and we'd have had a Netherlands sweep of both the b-girl and b-boy champs. That would've been historic. Hopefully Lee gets an invite to join BC One All Stars because he definitely deserves it.
I don't know anything about these dancers but I like Victor's power moves and "get to business mindset" style but I also like Lee's showmanship and "let's have some fun" style. Both great dancers.
I see Victor a lot in the same light as Roxrite. Might not be super flashy and it might not appeal to everyone, but he knows his style and has it locked down to a T. I do think there are a lot of small details that don’t get caught in his sets. Thought Lee took it, but you can’t call this one a robbery when Vic is hitting his moves. That being said, I think we can all say this year was a bit disappointing when it was supposed to be a return to breaking roots in terms of location.
Thank god someone understands the game. Lee and victor were both hitting their moves and styles so it was pretty close to me. Not a robbery for sure, it was a well respected battle with 2 bboys perfecting their own style
Yea victor is sick and definitely one of the best but I wasn’t really fan of his style. I liked Issin, wizard, Yuki, amir styles better.. everyone has their own preferences
Exactly, Rox and Victor have a similar attitude to battles and they are both very clean. Solid not necessarily always shocking moves. They dance. In the end it's still a dance contest.
Victor is very flashy. Look at his powermove combos. He’s famous for combining moves that have gotten more and more popular in recent years UFOs to flare, to 90 to backspin to reverse backspin? He does combos most bboys dream of. He can do basically every powermoves out there. Jackhammers, low airflares, turtles, elbow airflares, etc. Roxrite was never that dynamic. Roxrite is renowned because he has incredible control and good foundation. He almost never crashes at all. And his freezes are amazing.
But the problem is he don't have new moves its extremely high time for victor to create new moves, even though he is awesome dancer it's boring to watch same moves again and again fir years and years, nways no offence , much respect to victor as well as you brother
Red Bull included the footage of another person filming these world class breakers dance. Probably, at one point they felt an audience member had done a better job filming on their phone than Red bull's entire camera crew.
I am a bigger fan of Lee and his style but I can't be mad at the result especially since Victor was on his home turf and the judges also made it a close decision.I only hope Lee doesn't give up on becoming champ because it's a common thing especially for those that make it to the finals or semi finals.
Lee lost because he crashed once in the first round, and bad top rock and no go down and 2 crashes in his last round. If Lee never crashed he would have won.

What a great final. Respect to the two bboys. What an unreal level of breaking they reached. Victor ir my favorite bboy with Wizard but I would have voted Lee. I hated Lee s style when he was a kid, but what a transformation. Respect. All those bboys are so inspiring. A dope exchange between the now two-time wold final champ and current top olympian for the USA and the new generational talent and as of a few months ago, a BC ONE All Star! Couldn’t have asked for much more in a final. Literally a 3 - 2 split which means this could’ve went either way. So for Lee, this is his learning curve. As for Vic, well this is him shutting up all the haters that doubt his skill and experience on these stages. One 💜
Victor got another one on home turf. Glad to see him get the win and rockin clean as always. Lee could have had this , but not enough footwork at the end .
From watching on screen , it just seems the venue's are too big and there is no atmosphere, I think there need to make it more compact and bring the crowds closer and create better energy and vibes
Just happened to came across highlights of the Redbull BC One and after watching it, i thought for certain that dude ISSIN was gonna be in the final or might be the champ. I'm new to this, who eliminated Issin? How on earth did dude lose?
Victor won the battle against Lee There's no question about this battle. But I'm disappointed in this whole Red Bullbc one event. Because until the last chance event, there was great Dj's music and the camera angle was good, but there was the worst dj and worst camera angle in the World Final event. Everyone wanted to listen to good music and see the great moves of bboys and bgirls, but this was impossible. In particular, it is not respect for hip-hop that this nonsense has happened in New York, the birthplace of hip-hop.
Horrible camera work this year, nobody wants drone shots or seeing the audience when the bboys are throwing it down. This happened multiple times this year where great moments were missed due to this. Do better Red Bull.
I thought Victor Won. His moves are so difficult and technical. The stuff he’s doing is so original and signature style. But he does it so flawlessly that it looks simple. Lee is a dope bboy too. Equally original, but he probably lost because his moves look a bit more wild and less controlled. Such a close battle!
I swear to you, when the Participants of this Red Bull BC One 2022 left and the departure of Hong 10 due to injury, I knew that this title was Victor's, and I'll tell you why too, many years without disputing BC One and still disputing in Home, He was going to come with everything to win, I wouldn't let this opportunity pass, he's dancing a lot in other championships too
