I agree with putting butter on each slice. Sweet cream butter really increases the taste of banana bread. Another holiday bread you could have them try is pumpkin bread. Serve it to them with some butter to put on that too.
Banana bread is delicious. I like it better with chocolate chips though. Here's an idea: why not get all of the participants together and have them make a dish together? That would be awesome if you can do that.
I like mine thinly sliced with margarine like bread... banana bread doesn't need any fancy ingredients and can be made anywhere you have access to 3 overripe bananas.

Already enjoyed and watched. Thank you for sharing this good video
I appreciate that the channel didn't edit out what Sheikh said that was off the topic of banana bread. Including that and other things expressed that are not necessarily focused on just a food or new product they are trying is good 👍. This gives viewers more insight into the individuals themselves, their personalities, their lives, their relationships, their thoughts and concerns, their ideals, their faith, and their humor. It also suggests how exposure to some of these new things they are experiencing may broaden both their views of cultures beyond their own, gives some new ideas to adapt that may work with sources available to them and their families, and may enhance the appreciation they have of all their own blessings at home. As I watch, I grow in experiencing what our friends share, and feel I am coming to know them better with each video. The experience is so much more than mere banana bread 😋. And I am glad for that!
the trick is to use Very ripe/black bananas. When our bananas sitting on the counter get a little over ripe and no one wants to eat, we save them the freezer. (They will turn completely black, that's the Key to Perfection) and when we have enough we make bread with them, More bananas to flour ratio then what most recipes call for really cant go wrong, because too much bananas you will get a dense banana "brownie" less of a bread, but very yummy. And somewhere between bread and brownie is perfection,. it should still rise and have bubbles but be dense and less like other breads, the whole loaf should shrink a little and pull away from the pan when cooled, but the top should not deflate ( unless you are wanting the "brownie" version). I like it plain no raisins, just a brown sugar Crusty top glaze.
It is great lightly toasted, spread with a little butter or peanut butter or cream cheese, and accompanied with sweetened hot tea (with either a little lemon or a little milk added to the tea). Such a taste! A wonderful breakfast.
I love that the channel is including the children. The young lady and her younger sister are beautiful, and clearly are like most children around the world, having their own tastes and opinions. That they don't like to eat many healthy things, is a bit disturbing, since many healthy things are really delicious, but kids being kids... it's often the case for a child to rather eat only what they have decided they like the most. She's made similar comments before on other videos. I'm pretty sure she's speaking about preferences rather than the lack of healthy foods. At least she is being candid, and they are trying the foods offered. Which is good. I salute them and encourage them as they experience some of these new things and have opportunity to express themselves to people beyond their circle of family, friends, teachers, and members of their local community. I'd really like for the channel producers to help them to explore some ingredient labels for processed foods they are trying, whether foreign or domestically produced and marketed. It may open the children's eyes to what may not be so healthy. Wish I had my eyes opened to that when I was a kid. God bless those girls and everyone on the channel. Keep up the great work you are doing. 🙂
I hope you give these people the recipes of the thing they eat. Even if they don't have all the ingredients they can make substitute with what do have.
Love the man with the long hair, Ed so wise and smart! great job there too with the vegan part and goodness and kindness to all! And he's right about Islam too, but unfortunately, like every religion, it's run by humans, who are most likely not using their hearts and brains like him... so it goes wrong... Have a nice safe day all!
" Using islam in a negative way..." I am by no means muslim, but I WOULD like to get a point across to muslims and jews and christians : Does it really matter if your name for God is Yaweh or Allah ? After all it's the same deity. WHY make a fight out of it ? If you were all able to have as much sense as our beloved Tribal People, the world would be a much better place
To the complainers this is one version of banana bread in particular this appears to be Banana Nut Bread with some chocolate possibly being added. Whoever made it still did a great job and it does have the taste of bananas which is what matters. Yes Banana Bread are often cake like but there are some recipes that are more like a bread.
Banana bread is one of those things that, while it's called "bread", it's more of a less-sweet cake that's just baked in a loaf pan (so it's bread loaf-shaped). Chocolate chunks and/or walnuts are good add-ins. My mother has a banana cake recipe that is sweeter than banana bread. I also have a banana walnut muffin recipe with crunchy streusel topping.
This reminds me: if you want a dense cake that has nuts and dried/candied fruits (candied cherries, candied citrus peel, raisins, etc), try fruitcake, which is traditional around Christmas time. The best kind has marzipan (a type of sweetened almond paste) on top!
You don't have to put nuts and dried fruits in banana bread. It can be made rich and moist and full of flavor with extra banana (very ripe and sweet) and even some sour cream. Of course, you can always add things like nuts and raisins, and even chocolate chips, if they are available, but they are optional.
Amazing I just took my two loaf pans out the oven now sitting on rack to cool-Love banana nut bread. Would be nice if they could make it and sell by loaf or slice. Wondering do they bake bread or fry. Love your Channel From USA
He probably meant vegetarian. I've noticed that a lot of different languages seem to use the two interchangeably, so in English subtitles they might use the wrong one
Pumpkin bread is delicious as well!
Definitely! The richness and the spices are soooo good !
I love banana bread. If it's dry, a thin spread of butter will help and will make it taste even better.
Vegan Margarine* :p

Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is another they could try!
I did suggest carrot cake. On a prior video I mentioned various breads including potato bread, and banana bread.
Idk about the cream cheese part (even if it's vegan one) but carrot cake is great!
Cream cheese frosting is the best. And it's so simple to make...cream cheese, confectioner's sugar and a few drops of vanilla extract.
Definitely!!
The guy in the green shirt has wisdom about nature and protecting the plants and animals on Earth!

Yes, they can learn how to make Brownies from a box mix.
Yes that's a great suggestion. Just be patient with us. God willing we will try.
Banana, zucchini, pumpkin breads all taste amazing if toasted first and served hot with butter!

I like it cold winter mornings with butter spread on it, tea or coffee warm up. sometimes pecans or walnuts in it.
Sounds great!

Mmm, banana nut bread served warm with butter, yummy 😋
My banana bread is never dry. It is super moist.
I learned to make the best bread by an African American woman.
New subscriber, banana bread is my fav.
Thanks

I've never put dried fruit and nuts in my banana bread, but will try the next time I make some. Why are slices so thick?
I agree. It's more like a pound cake loaf, than a bread. It's generally baked in bread loaf pans, hence the name "bread".
there are recipes that more bread like. so it can very in consistency between bread or cake.
Love the man with the long hair, Ed so wise and smart!

Brother islam, Christianity, judaism, we all believe in the same one god! It is time for the world to understand this and not forget it!
Wait till you try banana cake. 😋 Then you'll know why it's called banana bread.
Banana Bread is an American Classic!
Walnuts, Caramel and Icing are added for flavor and texture.
Enjoy
Amazing I just took my two loaf pans out the oven now sitting on rack to cool-Love banana nut bread.
Would be nice if they could make it and sell by loaf or slice.
Wondering do they bake bread or fry.
Love your Channel

How come kids didnt get milk?
Sorry vegan guy but banana bread is usually made with butter, eggs, and sometimes milk or yogurt. Oh well… there’s always next Friday. Lol.
Was just thinking the same thing
He probably meant vegetarian. I've noticed that a lot of different languages seem to use the two interchangeably, so in English subtitles they might use the wrong one
Yup
You should eat it as it is before dipping for enhanced flovor;)
Never in my life have I heard puttin dried fruit or anything in banana bread. Nuts yes some do some don't but never fruit besides the banana
Raisins😀
They call nuts 'dry fruit'.
Technically it is.
Fruitcake?
Why not make plain banana bread. No nuts or other fruits in it.
whoever made it did it by recipe. so they found a banana nut bread recipe.
Banana bread has nuts . It’s why it’s called banana nut bread .
@@ssshadowwolf6762 I don't eat nuts, so I don't use them. Hence, Banana Bread. What they are eating is banana nut bread with other fruit in it.
Vegan eating banana bread.... uncomfortable.
Ruined it by dipping it in milk.
Banana bread is made of = eggs, butter, milk but he doesn't want to drink the milk ?
He’s abstaining from it for religious reasons and told us so
So the vegan (once a week guy) did not know that banana bread has EGGS, MILK, and sometimes BUTTER in it??? Okay then...enjoy!
Why be so critical and snide ?
He knows what he can have .
What’s the big idea of putting weird stuff in the bread?🤮
