Oh yay I’m so glad you enjoyed! I have so many marriage of convenience recs, my Goodreads list has over 100 that I’ve read so it’s just picking the ones to talk about 😅 I am going to do a contemporary one though!
Hi Christi 🥰 I’m so glad I found your channel ! I’m an avid historical rom book reader I highly recommend Judith McNaught. She is easily one of my favourite authors! Until You has a really unique premise and it is definitely a fun read I also throughly enjoyed A Kingdom of Dreams, Something Wonderful and Almost Heaven! Whitney my love is the last book on my TBR and I don’t want to part ways with her yet 😭
Thank you so much! I love historical romances so much and Judith McNaught is an author I’ve been saving to get to. Especially A Kingdom of Dreams, I’ve heard amazing things. Thanks so much for the recs and for watching! ❤

Oh my! i read most of these books and I love them all🥰 last month I read Nichole Van’s The Penn-Leiths of Thistle Muir Series & my favorite was (book 2) “Adjacent But Only Just” not a marriage of convenience but you will fall inlove with the Hero. The first book of the series “Love Practically” is the marriage of convenience trope & is also good. Karen Tuft’s “Wager for a Wife” & Sarah Eden’s “Seeking Persephone”
Highly unlikely I can recommend anything you haven't read as yet, Christie, but here goes: A Momentary Marriage by Candace Camp. The hero is dying and is resigned to it, but decides to go to a doctor in the country who has had some success with his condition. When he gets there, the doctor has recently died, and his daughter is getting evicted from their home. Hero proposes to the daughter, thinking that he is setting her up for a secure future, given that he thinks he will be dead in a few months and this is like a final good deed he can do. There's also The Arrangement by Mary Balogh, which is a bit of a Cinderella story, and is book 2 in the wonderful Survivors' Club series. Other Balogh books also fit the marriage of convenience trope as well, though they generally straddle a couple of themes at once.
Oh wow that Candace Camp sounds so good! I have yet to read that author actually, so I’m making note of this one for sure. 😍 Oooh I haven’t read that Mary Balogh series either. I definitely want to read more of hers. Thanks so much for both of these recs, I’m very excited to check them out. 😍😍🥰
@@christireadsalot The first book in the Survivors' Club series (The Proposal) is not the best, but it's better to read the series in order, because little things are teased that come out as you go through the books. You're so well-read in this genre that I am impressed I was able to suggest something new to you, Christi! 📖📙📚🥰
@@sandeesandwich2180 yes I do love reading series in order as well, I am definitely going to read The Proposal first. I appreciate the recommendations so much! ❤️
