Someone asked about the history of the Griffis Sculpture Park, so here’s their website which includes great info. Also, the GI Bridges are apparently 93 feet tall.

Great video, Chris. Thanks for letting us tag along with you on your ride. I really enjoyed Griffis Sculpture Park. As a 76 year old guy who rode two wheelers for almost 60 years, I bought my Spyder for the peace of mind that 3 tires on the ground gives me. I loved this video and it made me want to take my Spyder and explore farther away from home. Thanks again.

Beautiful park! Not sure about all the sculptures in it, but I always enjoy going to parks, especially in the fall. Cheers Chris!

Hi Chris, thanks for taking us along on your ride. I am still on a two-wheeler and have an innate phobia of bridges and heights . Earlier this week I rode my smallest bike, a Honda Helix scooter from my home in north east PA to Erie, and then up along the coast to Buffalo, across the peace bridge to CA, north along the Niagara parkway to the Rainbow bridge and then east towards Lockport. I was thrilled that neither of those bridge crossings were any problem. The biggest challenge was crossing the tops of some of the hills as I approached the finger lakes. The cross winds on some of those hills can be frightening.
I enjoyed the trip through the park. I really like riding in NY state. Your videos have been very helpful in identifying possible stops and attractions.
    Tim

Wow! What an adventure on your scooter! You probably rode right by my house. Glad you enjoyed it despite the hills and bridges. Thanks for watching!

Wind was my nemesis when I started riding my Spyder last year, but it was because of my jacket! I wore a very mesh-y one on a blustery day with wind speeds at 20 mph. I was riding on roads that were wide open, and they were crosswinds. I check wind speed and direction before I ride.

Definitely can hear the wind. The sculpture park is definitely uniquely different, probably more impressive in person

According to the NYS Thruway Authority, both the South and North Grand Island Bridges are 93 feet tall to accommodate shipping. The Griffis Sculpture Park was very interesting to see, I only wish you would have given a little history of it. Thanks for another Great and very interesting video.

Thanks for the GI Bridge info. I should have known that living so close. I don’t really know the history of the sculpture park, but I just looked at their website and it’s really interesting. I’ll put a link in the comments. Thanks!

The park was interesting I have seen something similar before. The Spyder seemed very planted on those bridges even in the wind. It's very usful when you run those sort of tests and it gives a lot of information about the capability of the Spyder.

@@SpyderChrisYT Hi Chris, I have seen some posts on FB recently about Spyder main shat sherining off and the trike unable to move when you try to select a gear? Think it's a recall issue but might be worth investigating for the channel. Kind regards, Mike. 🙂👍
