@@EdwardBast Surely he is clowning here, but I don't think he can really carry a tune. He makes an effort in a Fripp & Toyah video to sing When I Fall in Love - you probably know the video - but his singing is very erratic and weak. But he is such an amazing guitarist and musician. If i was half as good as he is, i wouldn't mind being incapable of singing.
I love how Robert has always come across as serious, stern and reticent, but is actually just as loose & funny in person as anyone else. @@theo9952 You're terribly excited, Auld Theo. Ululating: to produce a rapid and prolonged series of sharp noises with one's voice. @@cybertronian2005 It's not about one song comedy. He disbanded K.C. with hysterical fashion multiple times. Also when he was asked about John Wetton it was all about him not really John who was the soul for the band.
@tiborzkarate1 I love Wetton, but to say he's the soul of the band is just ludicrous. Fripp from KC'a inception has been the leader and when Bruford and Wettin arrive they were knowingly joining a band led by Fripp's vision. This comes from the Lizard sessions that were released on DGM in December 2020.
thank you masked warria
An angel voice
A fallen angel

When he says he can't sing to save his life, he really means it.
I thought I couldn't sing, but I am much better than Fripp.
He had to be handicapped in some way

Well, now I get it why Greg Lake, Gordon Haskell, Boz Burrell, John Wetton, Adrian Belew and Jakko Jakszyk all sang for King Crimson now
Dont forget Jon Anderson
@@FerRed-fd5wx Jon Anderson only contributed for one track
@@maxporto8898 Yeah I know. But he sang too. At least one time
And on this particular track, Jon Anderson sang the final version.
And let's not forget that Fripp also sang on 'The King Crimson Barbershop', as did Levin and Bruford.
My eardrums just shattered like a Prince Rupert’s drop.

Fripp is a jolly fellow but when it comes to music he'll fk you

Maybe he goes into a trance-like state when playing onstage in order to concentrate, and doesn’t care how he’s perceived.
Maybe it’s just shitty singing ?
Magnificent
Yap. Jon Anderson was perfect.
God just couldnt let this man be a guitar god and a good singer he would be too powerful
Possibly the greatest video on the net.
Nothing to say but❤ him through and through
The picture says it all.
my right ear enjoyed thsi
This is why he sits on a stool with a guitar and keeps his mouth shut Lol
well i can definitely say i have never heard anything quite like this😭😭😭😭😭
Make sure you have your right headphone in, lads, this baby’s panned like a Beatles track
Well it's aptly titled because that warbling could awake a bear in hibernation. Not to mention a prince.
Ok…….. riiiiiiiight
This is wonderful. Now I have heard everything.
Is there anything Fripp can't do? Apparently so.
😂
There he is, the King Crimson
I like the other guy's (who can he be?) mock immitation in responce to RF's hopeless effort.
Probably Gordon Haskell

I am delighted to discover that my absolute favourite musician of all time has the exact same singing ability as me.

Fripp taught me you can make up for lack of singing ability with extraordinary guitar playing skills
Sounds like the gumbys from monty python
Sounds exactly like how I envisioned it.

There’s only one Shaggs! They occupy a space and chunk of time all their own.
Don't be talking about my Shaggs!
"Prince Rupert awakes" is impossible to sing.
Pas mal;)
He's fallen in the water ...
Fripp is a pip!
Do you believe in the reunion of Giles, Giles and Fripp? I believe.
I'm not sure, but I believe Michael Giles is retired from drumming.
Better than Adrian.
WHAT ???!!!
he sounds like 2D from Gorillaz here 😭
I think bob is tone deaf, so i cant say im surprised
