We are spending billions of dollars in purchasing costly air crafts from abroad but not spending even one billion dollar for test facilities for testing engines. listening from decades that India needs test facilities to test kaveri engines. How serious is the DRDO is clear from it ?
Why it is that scientists work hard and deliver in ISRO but not in DRDO or many other organisations because scientists are empowered in ISRO and there is no red tapisism there. ISRO model must be followed in other departments too. India must buy 5th generation Air crafts both USA and Russia.
If any govt or pvt sector companies not performing then middle or lower staff is not responsible, mainly policy, procedure, responsibility and timely funding is much more important. These shall be improved
Big business houses and talented ITTIANS shall join hand to develop new technology with some finanacial support from govt without much govt interference.
