Same here mate. I mean, when did i Join the Sport? With 6 or 7 or something? And i knew this since day one. I was really surprised that there are people who didnt knew
Yeah same. Like.. in many sports the national anthem of the winning team is played so Idk why that is not common knowledge. But I guess with the Constructors Anthem some people may get confused.
Also if you’re wondering after all the National Anthems are finished playing the music that plays during the Champagne celebration is Les Toreadors by Georges Bizet from Carmen Suite No. 1
i think the last time we had 1 national anthem was nico rosberg driving for mercedes’ at hockenheim and the time before that is probably lewis hamilton mclaren silverstone
Just an idea : don’t you think it could be so cool for constructors to have their own anthems instead of their countries’ anthem? I think it could be pretty awesome to have something to sing to after your favorite team takes the win
So some more detail for those who already know this: The song that plays afterwards for the champagne is the prelude to an opera by George Bizet titled Carmen. The first national anthem is most often played live, usually by a military band and then the music for the podium ceremony is usually done on recordings (not always) Over here in the UK the anthem on the grid is always played by one of the household divisions (guards) bands but they leave before the race starts and the podium music is played over loud speaker
Now forgive me if I'm mistaken, but ai assumed op was referring to the same piece of classical music that plays on the podium after every presentation when the champagne gets sprayed, and that is Les Toreadors by George's Bizet. That's one of the pieces of music I associate most with F1 (aside from The Chain)
I thought he meant the Carmen Suite 1. 5 Los Toreadors which is played following the anthems while they spray champagne. I'd like to know why the chose that song
I know people are learning a LOT about F1 recently, and it's great they ask such great questions. But honestly the first ever race you see, it becomes brutally honest to see how this works during the race weekend without any prior knowledge..
Yh but remember a lot of Americans don't bother learning about other cultures so they probably have no idea what those songs actually are (and the majority of new fans are American atm, which is why spa is getting binned off for Las Vegas.......😑)
Yooo can somebody tell me how r d cars lined up on Saturdays durin’ qualifying like what’s d strategy to place ‘em in what-what places like 1-,2-,3- like this or they just start randomly from their garages just whenever they feel okay but there’s a time limit to start it too
They leave garage whenever they think it's the best for them (traffic etc). Every round of quali has certain duration and they have to start their lap in that time.
Not Formula 1, but when Tazio Nuvolari obtained the "impossible victory" at the Nordschlife Grand Prix in 1935. The n*zis were so sure they were going to win at home that they didn't have any other anthem at hand. Luckly, Nuvolari brought with himself an old record of the italian hymn. Other sources said they could only find an old italian opera disk and they went with it.
we were all newbie to f1 but i bet you that question never cross your mind ever. It is such basic common sense. the fact he said "music" playing, did he expect it to be bohemian rhapsody or something?

Interesting question. I'd have thought it would be the national anthem of the country the circuit is in but that wouldn't make much sense for the San Marino Grand Prix
I may be crazy but I really enjoy Alex albon I'd say he's my favorite driver. Do you think he will get another chance after Williams even after messing up at red bull? Thanks loving the content
I'm no J-bone, but here's my take: I also really like Alex, but just like Gasly, he's mid, and Redbull learnt that the hard way. Yea, it takes time to adjust with the car and setups and all, and the pressure is extra high in a frontrunner team, but Albon and Gasly killed their chances, mostly because no team with a car that has potential to win races would want to risk a driver that might mess up a chance. He is a solid midfield driver imo, but in the front, not so much.
@@mohammadrasooli6244 I think with enough experience 5-7 years they can be 2nd drivers for top teams again, I'm a little disappointed with Gasly this season.
No. The anthem before the Race has nothing to do with the anthem of the Podium Celebration. French anthem before the race, no Matter what. If Ocon would win, the french anthem would be played once
