    I've only ever been aboard a navy ship once, and that was as a civilian. From the couple of days I was there, it was clear that one really needs focus and discipline to make it in a career in the Navy.

    I apologize for the silent parts. I had to take the music down due to copyright purposes.

    Hey bro what's the most fun rank? I want something interesting that will make me want to re-enlist and maybe even retire with the Navy. It's been my dream to be in the Navy since I was in the 3rd grade.

      The jobs are called rates, but it really depends on what you like to do. I would say RS they are the barbers and work in the ship store or maybe RP they take pictures and videos and manage the ships social media.

    what rate do you think that guy is at 0:58 that looks really cool.

    • @theofficialdaveharris8794
      @theofficialdaveharris8794  5 лет назад +2

      terriblelottery that’s not a rate he’s just a plotter on one of the training teams during drills. Any rate could do that.

      Most likely, he’s a DC. DC does that plotting thing, I went to their firefighting class and they taught that.

    I picked Fireman PACT rate going in as an E3, am I screwed? :/ I hear alot of bad things about it

    • @theofficialdaveharris8794
      @theofficialdaveharris8794  5 лет назад +1

      Brian it’s not all bad. You will do a lot of the grunt work, but since your already a E3 it’s not too long until you make E4 then you can be the one delegating orders.

      @@theofficialdaveharris8794 do I have to wait 2 years before I'm e4?

    • @theofficialdaveharris8794
      @theofficialdaveharris8794  5 лет назад

      Brian so you have to wait 2 years before you can pick a rate but once you are rated you can take the next advancement test that comes around.
