- Today, I got every bedwars prestige to share their secrets to winning. I got an individual to represent each prestige from stone prestige to rainbow prestige. I then also got a 2000 star (Mirror prestige) to message me some advice/tips to share with you guys.

As a bedwars 219 star and bridge diamond 2 I actually agree with this a LOT. Bridge helped me gain like +100 IQ and also learned good block placement. This was probably one of the best tips in the video.

As a 550 star in bedwars, one of the most effective ways to win games efficiently is to constantly have diamond control and know where to position yourself in certain scenarios. There are way too many strats to explain so I will give the basics:
1st. Gamesense (Never place yourself with your back behind the void, always know when and where to rush, know how to not get double rushed, know when or if you should ditch your bed, knowing how to clutch games)
2nd. Always have diamond and emerald control
3rd. Use every item to your advantage
4th. Always have a water bucket in your team chest just incase someone tries to tnt your bed, once the tnt is placed, place the water right at the block where the tnt is (it will defeat all purposes of the tnt)
5th. PVP
6th. Awareness (sorta falls into the gamesense category)
Those are the basics!

As a 522 star in bedwars I feel that I should add some stuff here.
Learn the correct way to rush on maps. Please don't side rush on sky rise. It's not the right way. There are only two maps that I can think of that rushing two different ways is acceptable. 1. Pernicious. 2. Rooted. I just avoid these maps for this reason.
1. Play solo. Cry all you want about not getting finals and having a better bblr than fkdr, stats don't mean anything anyway. Solo is easily the best (bedwars) mode for getting better at the game. If you lose, its most likely your fault. Obviously there are exceptions such as hackers and getting double teamed, but winning a game after getting double teamed is the best feeling.
2. Don't sweat over having good stats. They really do not mean anything, and if people judge you over them, just know they have a larger ego than the number of people with the last name "smith." I have a 2.57 fkdr overall, but average ~5-20 fkdr daily. (At least when I actually played the game I did).
3. Ignore your win streak entirely. Honestly don't stress over a win streak. It's better to lose a game while not caring about it than when you do. People who care about their stats/winstreaks are often the most toxic.
4. Manage your diamond control. Please, do not buy iron forge, dragon buff, any trap except for miner fatigue, or maniac miner. These are all things that only work in VERY specific situations. The only one that is even worth considering to buy is maniac miner, and that's only if the opponent has obby.
5. Do not spend time learning some incredibly hard bridging method to get to the diamond gen 0.3 seconds faster. It's not worth it. It's better to be slow at ninja bridging, but consistent, rather than going zoom zoom with godbridging, but falling every 5 blocks.
6. If your playing any team based mode, chose teammates based on team chemistry, rather than skill. You ideally want a player that will listen to you when you ask them to do something. If they don't do what you asked, it could be because of someone rushing your base. But if they do it every single time you ask, then you need a new teammate.
7. When playing team modes, use discord to communicate with your teammate. Especially if you are a slow typer.
8. LOOK AT THE SCORE BOARD. I can not say this enough. Look at the damn score board before deciding to rush yellow as gray. Make sure you don't have an immediate threat to your bed before leaving your base.
9. Understand when good times are to void. You don't want to void too late and lose the game
10. Most players aren't good at pvp and especially aren't good at using the terrain to their advantage. Learn how to use the maps correctly.
11. Take breaks if you need to. Don't punch a hole in your wall because some guy ended your 10 win streak. If you are getting frustrated, watch youtube or something for an hour. Keep your head held up high.
12. How fast you click rarely matters in any way. Don't break your mouse so you can click 5% faster.
13. If you have high ping, watch high ping players perspective to see how they handle the major disadvantage you guys are at.
14. Stars≠skill. Please don't use stars as a way to judge skill. They mean experience with the game. So the higher the star: the (on average) better game sense
15. Don't buy gaps first rush. Just void if you are low on health after defending. It's faster and cheaper.

The kids were horrible. Had garbage stats that’s the only reason he won. Everyone he dueled had like 1 fkdr and a low amount of finals for their star. Ben is garbage and he found people garbage for their star to feed his ego

Bridge yes! And the secret tip: Capture the Wool in the Arcade lobby. That game is a chaotic game, which forces you to take 1v3s and more on a regular basis. It is really good, if you are into learning the AI-patterns of the Steve.

Really good video! I would love to have been in this video to give advice, but I'll drop it here.
1. I really like Lioness' advice, awareness is so important and it's just kind of lumped in with "gamesense" even though it should be treated entirely seperately. Knowing who to rush and how to rush them = gamesense, knowing who is going to rush you and from where = awareness. It's so important to not lose your bed, especially in solos.
2. On that topic, I almost never bed trade. It's just something I choose not to do, if someone is better than me, *maybe* I'll bed trade with them, however it's not something I'm going to do in a regular game 99% of the time.
3. I really liked the emerald prestiges advice, PVP in bedwars is 90% "who's back is to the void". Always, always, always position yourself so if you get hit, you are not getting knocked off. It's not always possible, for example bridge fighting, but if you can, have your back to a block, or just on normal ground, if your opponent is going to you, strafe in a way that makes them get knocked off, or down a hill, or anything to inflict more damage.
4. There is no shame in saying that the punch bow is the best item in the game. Obviously there are ways to counter it, but when push comes to shove.... It's just the best pvp item. Consider it when you're a final.

you can get the party bonus in solos if you invite your alt and don’t accept the invite there and then just keep playing. (you can also invite somebody that won’t accept the party invite, like a youtuber) (this also works if you solo queue other modes)
I have two tips for bridge fighting, and one more for bedwars just in general.
First off high ground, you'd want to jump over your opponent, while you are right above them, you can look to the side and knock them off horizontally.
Next, if you have lowground, you can stay 1 or two blocks back from their built up pillar. You'd use shears to mine the blocks they placed. When they jump or look like they are about to, just look slightly above their highest block and spam your left click. If you have decent ping you should be able to hit and knock them off midair.
Dealing with ladders - If the player is below you(they usually are), you'd mine the middle block, or the bottom most block to leave 1 block with a ladder in the air, they usually fall off, then use high ground strat, jump over em and knock them off.
Biggest tip would to be play ranked bedwars. This is a 4v4 competitive bedwar game. There is a discord you need to join. I gained a lot of gamesense from this due to fighting stronger opponents, my awareness has also increased.

#1 tip for winning bedwars is to take preworkout, then play. Aim becomes crazy good and reaction time is wild.

I am a 244 star in bedwars, and the most underrated aspect of it is defending your bed. If your getting rushed, void if you have time to and as well as having that IQ to know what your opponent is doing. Keep a water bucket in your team chest just incase TNT is going to be dropped. IF you're getting sandwiched by 2 players or teams. Just ditch the bed, it will not be worth defending.
(PLAY 2S AND 4S, THEY ARE THE BEST GAMEMODES)

one thing the 200 stars gold guy didnt mention is that a lot of people play on 1.8 and 1.8 doesnt have auto jump, so placing a block cancels their momentum and causes them to not move and get confused, which you can use to your advantage to lock them in a combo or use a kb stick

You should instead find stars that have similar FKDR’s since FKDR + stars does matter a lot.
an actual tip from a semi bridge player who is noob: when someone is coming to you, make a 2 block wall and instead of going upwards, bypass them and they wont be expecting it and they would die instantly (also works if your gonnabreak the bed and they built a wall infront of you) a bypass is basically just placing a block on the right side or left side of the bridge and then like you bypass them (another tip: just cover the left and right side if you think the other player is gonna try and bypass, i did this one and it baffled the enemy )

You should try the same thing for Skywars, for example get a 5 star for iron pres, 10 star for gold pres, 15 for diamond pres, 20 emerald pres, 25 sapphire, 30 ruby pres, 35 crystal, 40 opal, 45 amethyst, 50 rainbow and 60 mythic
there isn't much advice you can get for sws, it's just pvp

If u guys really want to get better there is 2 tips to get alot alot better and go on long winstreaks 200+
1. Play ranked bedwars (improves gamesense)
2. Play minemen (increases pvp)
I think that the best way to get better and work on all of the tips in the video is ranked bedwars. There is a discord server for it and you play sweaty 4v4 games which can help anyone improve a lot. It can be kind of a hard thing to get into when your a new player whether its because your bad or toxic ranked bedwars players. One way you can get around this is by playing ranked bedwars in bedwars lobby 1. This way you won't be in a call with people and it is easier/less competitive.
