Should I get this project to do, I would do most of the finishing first, rewire the guitar and then glue the neck to the body and use the neck pocket opening before glue it as part to fish all the cables where they belong....... I will replace the stock pickups by add two Seymore Duncan PRails and a Fishman Piezo Powerbridge pickup Push pull pots and a 6way Freeway switch to blend all the pickups... Adding a Power Chip switch to switch and blend between the piezo and SD Pickups.... Adding a Fishman 3band IQ system with tuner built in... Make use of Grover Locking tuners and Schaller guitar strap locks... The Piezo will give me the acoustic sound of a dreadnought acoustic guitar.... Tight the nuts up and then make sure with a tester all components are electrically working ..... What can go wrong with this apart from getting stolen after a gig.....
Congrats on your build. I've been watching Solo every day of a month for this kit to become available. Big plans for this. Using an ebony moustache bridge to replace the trapeze tailpiece. P100s. Shellac for the body and nitro for the neck. Nice playing.
Love your build, love your tracks! I have a question about the tremolo. Did you sub in a trapeze tailpiece? This is the tremolo I want to add once I get mine started. I'm looking to create my own version of a 1952 Gibson ES-295. Not sure the stock pickups will do but I can always source replacements.
I subbed out the tailpiece that came with the kit with this one from amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BQSZRYN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks for capturing the build on video. And great to hear the guitar throughout, with great playing!
Beautiful!
Great video, Brian. And truly nice playing as well. Thanks for posting this.
Glad you liked it! Here's another tune featuring the ESK 75: open.spotify.com/track/1PHzMbQ9YVO9M7aCaEqtns?si=f657164223ef4fbc

Hi what does the neck feel like and would you the lower bout width? And great vid, thank you..
The neck feels similar to an Epiphone Casino - the width and scale length is the same. The lower bout width is 15 inches. Hope that helps!
It does help with my decision, thank you kindly..😊
