    Damn bro, its already been a whole year? I remember someone saying its about a dollar a day if you make a budget for your visa so the math checks out. I think the ARC card lets you get a license and bank account there.

    Be careful about overstaying.. just because you can pay a few pesos as a penalty, it doesn’t mean that your don’t have a blemish on your record. Also, the law could change suddenly and you’d be in deep doodoo. It could go as far as deportation if that’s what they decide. Always treat your extensions like your life depends on it and do it a week before expiry.
    As for the people you mentioned that haven’t paid for their visa extensions.. After one year they will get blacklisted from the country and can’t re-enter.
    The ACR card is mainly to open a bank account and get a driver’s license. That’s it.

      Thanks for the info man I didn’t know about that. I’ll be a lot more cautious about that from now on 👌🏾 I heard that most people leave the country for a couple days and then return which resets the entire process if that’s correct.

      No problem man. Yep, you can reset the 36 month limit for tourists that way.
      Here’s some useful advice, since you’re both young, have a child and your gf doesn’t have good work opportunities in the PH (plus the PH passport is weak.) It would make a lot more sense to go back to the US with her temporarily so she can acquire dual nationality. (US-Philippines) and the same goes for your child.
      You can both save up during this period and each time you visit the Philippines with her, you’ll be eligible to stay 1 year visa-free (saving you hundreds of dollars.) as her spouse because of the Balikbayan privilege. (Google it if you don’t know what it is.)
      That would be my game plan for the next 5 years if I were in your shoes.

      @@CoMi000 Yes, after the 3rd year in country,you have to leave to any country closer enough for you to return after 3 days Or 1 week, and start over again, Or you can marry this girl, and you will be set with the marriage visa, no need to go back to the Bureau again, unless you get stupid and she report you,regards from Boston MA!

    I see it can be done online now
    If I want to stay six months, after my first 30 days, can I skip right to a two month or six extension if I get the ACR card right away, or is it mandatory that I do the first extension of 29 days, THEN I can do the two/six month extension?

    • @blackdave8525
      @blackdave8525 Месяц назад +1

      Your second extension can only be 29 days after , after that one then you apply for an act card , you cannot skip the 29 days extension , plus there trying to stop the 6 months at a time but I hear at present there still letting you do this in Manila only ! so 30 days 29 days then acr and your get another 2 months after unless you get to Manila but ask first or your waste a trip ! remember you need an exit clearance at the airport before you ever leave which you can get at the airport and always take all your extension paperwork with yourself !

      @@blackdave8525 exit clearance, i never heard of this. If i stay more than 59 days total i need to get some special clearance at the airport not before? Where?
