I know, it's loyalty - he thinks Labour will be even worse. That's true technically but I think we are well beyond that 'lesser evil' stuff now after 14 years of betrayal. Tens of thousands in every manifesto but they see nothing wrong with a million in a single year. We need to replace the Tories or it will be Left vs Lefter at every bloody election. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on.

Abbott was so unpopular that he actually managed to lose his own safe conservative seat in 2019. The first time the seat of Warringah had not elected the Conservative Party candidate since 1922. He has a disdain for science and objective facts. One of the worst PMs in Australian history.

I would say that Gillard was the worst in the last 30 years, while Australian economy was ravaged by the Dutch Decease (remember AUD at 105 - 110 US cents?) she never spoke about it. His history of divineness back home in OZ is legendary and he is more aligned to that other busted flush Nigel Farage for goodness sakes.. He set OZ back years in terms of addressing massive climate change issues, the rights of women, faux promotion of the old White Australia policy back in the 60"s - god what a horrible human being he was and still is.

Labour will definitely not do better. This government has failed with regard to illegal immigration due to any idea they came up with was immediately blocked by some of their back benchers, the Labour Party and of course the unelected House of Lords. Problem is, huge numbers in this country do not realise what it is like to live under a Labour Government. They will eventually get ousted when the country is broke!

I would like Abbot to be right, but before the Tories can do right of centre politics, we would have to reverse the Blair/Brown reforms of 1997-2010. The system is rigged towards the Left. Only then can the Tories go back to being an actual Conservative party that actually does Conservative things.
