Loved all your gift ideas for puzzlers! Those sorting trays are definitely a must-have, and I never thought about the puzzle scoop-what a game changer! Can't wait to check out those Dollar Tree puzzles too. Thanks for the tips!
You won’t regret picking up a number of those Dollar Tree 350 count puzzles. For the price, it really is quite an experience. And that puzzle scoop really does come in handy.
Thanks - I use two puzzle boards (thick cardboard with felt top), one for the puzzle and one for sorting. I never knew about a puzzle scoop and will ask for one! Three years ago I got my first Magic Puzzle Co puzzle. Love them so much I own them all. At Christmas I get all the ones published that year. Definitely agree with your recommendation. Also the $1.25 ones are great - never travel without one or two.
Yes top ideas for ME!!! I have sorter trays and the scooper….somewhere! I do want to get a puzzle board,,, maybe to fit up to 2000 pieces. Thanks Mandy and Happy Holidays to you and your family and to all my fellow puzzlers
Theres lots of great options out there for 2k count puzzle boards. I especially like the ones with the sorting tray drawers. Hope you love the one you end up getting! Happy Holidays!
I agree with you on the Artbox puzzles from Dollar Tree. They are a decent puzzle and you truly cant beat the price!!! I love my puzzle trays as well, but I tend to use cafeteria trays. I also have 3 old bento boxes that I use to sort out edge pieces and the corners can go in their own compartment! You've got a great list here!
Cafeteria trays are awesome too, lots of usable space. And I never thought about bento boxes, that's a great idea! As for the DT puzzles, I seriously need to head back there and see what other images have come out since my last visit.
Just for fun, add a timer to check the time it takes to do a puzzle. I'm building a set of gifts to give to my granddaughter who is a puzzler like me for Christmas.
Agree with everything you said, Mandy, and I would just add to that with a decent swivel chair.....yet they can be pretty darn expensive (the good ones).
Great review Mandy. The table looked really useful. I need to get me one. Using the one from Amazon as it folds to a suitcase.....under 50$. So true as all your advice was very useful. Can't wait for your next video. Looking into the folding boards for 3k puzzles. Not sure which to go with yet. Congrats on your 3k completion. 🎉🎉
I’m thinking another great gift for puzzlers would be a custom puzzle made from a photo of their kids, grandchildren, family, or favorite vacation. Someone gave my mother a puzzle with pictures of her great grandchildren. She loved it.
That’s a fantastic idea 🤩 now you’ve also reminded me about a video idea I had awhile back of trying out different custom puzzle brands and comparing them. 🤔
I think a Pintoo puzzle would be a good gift idea because it's so different from cardboard puzzles, especially if someone hasn't tried one yet. It's the most perfect fitting puzzle!
All great suggestions, Mandy. Thanks for mentioning the lights - those will be perfect for my setup! I agree about the Puzzlebug puzzles, too; I just got back from a trip and someone had left a 350pc. I had some spare time and thought Why not? I was completely surprised and impressed - especially after finding out how inexpensive they are! Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you🤗 you’ll love the lights, they’re fantastic. As for the PuzzleBugs, I was so blown away by the quality and experience for the price. Such a great deal and they have so many images. You just gotta hope that the Dollar Tree location you visit has a good selection. It can be hit or miss at times.
what do you think about using blue painter’s tape to keep your drawers closed? it should keep them closed without damaging the table, and you shouldn’t need a lot
Oh those tables are really cool Puzzled M, but I would think a puzzler would have most of that other stuff, y'all are apart of the puzzler community, what are other traits about yourselves that could help?? I'll go first, as a puzzler I also like murder mysteries, I like to try and figure out who done it with what and where and why before the main character, as I own all of the Agatha Christie games on Xbox there's a fair few Sherlock Holmes games there too and I don't own a single one, ohhhh with this topic outta the bsg Puzzled M might give us a part 2 😇
The puzzled mandy great video
Thank you 🤗

Wow, your Magic Puzzle collection must look very impressive 🤩🤩🤩that’s awesome!
This is a great video!!!

I need to get that scoop! My husband set up one of those fancy filming lights. I don’t film anything 😆 but the light is excellent!
Those lights are great for so much. Definitely help with filming, but just as great for puzzling when there's no natural light.

Oops still me… and light of some sort.. need that badly
Oh yes! Timer is a great idea as well.
What great idea's.. I do not have any puzzle friends but I sure do like the idea of those lights, I will have to give the hubby a nudge 😂
The lights are great, especially since you can adjust them. I'm sure hubby wouldn't mind 😂

Good idea on the swivel chair! But you are right about the price. I needed to get a new one recently and I couldn't believe how much they run for now.
Hi Mandy.Great video as always. What I would love to get as a gift would be a gift certificate from a puzzle company or store.Have a good week.
Gift certificates are a great idea too, especially from a puzzle company. 😁
Hope you also have a great week!

Thank you again Jean 🤗 Nice that your folding board was under $50, those are my kind of prices for items like that.

So right! They truly are unique and the images are just too amazing.
Thanks for the information. I will ask for the LED light.
You're very welcome! Hope you get the light 😁

I got A Charlie Brown Xmas advent calendar jigsaw puzzle for only USD$20 at TJ Maxx!!!
That's a great price for an advent calendar. I still need to check out a TJ Maxx.
Yay!!🥳
😁

That's a good idea, especially now that I have a big roll of it.
Do you have a favorite kind of frame for puzzles? Amazon link would be great if it's to your advantage.
No favorite frame, but whatever I can afford at the time 😅prices and styles are always changing.
Inexpensive frames.
That's a good one!

I still need to try out the mystery puzzle that I have. I've seen so many cool looking ones out there.
