I'm in southeast PA not far from Valley Forge. I was stuck outside in a dirt parking lot when this derecho hit. Safe to say I pretty much got sandblasted from all the dirt that was kicked up by the wind. People in my area are still without power, trees down all over the place. Cool stuff, thanks for sharing.
nothing comparing to IOWA Derecho with winds up to 146mph for one hour and 20 minutes. They called the HURRICANE DERECHO, A Guy in his Car repair shop ran in to the restroom when the wind was getting to strong and it shows the wind tear down the entire building around him , He opened the rest room door and you can see the entire building lifting and flying apart and then away , with the sky above him. he servived by the restroom saving his life. Did you see the IOWA DEREACHO? This Derecho you did is was pretty strong and good for you tube though thanks for bringing Derecho weather in areas we like to know about.
I remember these types of gusts from the 2012 derecho, pretty scary at the time. And that summer heat sucked without air conditioning. But now I kinda wanna go through it again lol
This was the greatest, craziest, and most amazing storm I have ever seen in my life and I miss it dearly. Even though it shut off our power for a few minutes, it really was a spectacle to behold.
@@JeronRush327 did you guys get hit by the June 29 2012 derecho? That storm was really impressive. Traveled from IA to DC in 12 hours. Parts of NJ got hit by that storm. This storm originated near NW PA. Impressive storm indeed.
@@ealigo the 2012 derecho didn't effect NJ. Even if it did, it was at its strongest in Indiana, Ohio and Virginia. They probably got some rain from it.
@@leaf2180, thanks for the response. Parts of southern NJ got hit. Here's a bit about the damage from wikipedia: In South Jersey, Atlantic City Electric reported that 206,000 customers lost power from downed trees. Most of the outages were in Atlantic County, which prompted a county-wide state of emergency. Near Atlantic City, a boater died while trying to bring his vessel ashore. Officials believed that lightning struck a 104-year-old church in Longport and caused a fire that damaged the building.[38] Two boys were killed when a tree fell on their tent in Parvin State Park.[39] In Vineland, damage was preliminarily estimated at $125 million.[40] On July 19, 2012, President Obama declared three counties in New Jersey (Atlantic, Cumberland, and Salem) federal disaster areas. This assured disaster relief through federal assistance to local and state governments and some non-profit organizations.
@@TheRealMiamiman70 There were widespread hurricane gusts recorded across NJ and PA, including a 93 mph gust in Beach Haven, and an 89 mph gust in Brick.

Lets be real, the gusts in the video here were barely 45-50mph. AT its peak
We got hit here in Haddonfield with the same thing. Craziest wind storm I ever experienced!
Good footage. Your neighbor on the bike got home just in time. Amazed at the speed this came through.
Good footage, and who would have thought that another even more severe thunderstorm one would hit us in August.
Hurricane Isaias?
@@JeronRush327 You mean tropical storm isaias?

Full storm vlog coming soon.
In Medford it was insane, with all of the trees you just hoped nothing came down on you
DID ANYONE GET Hurt across the street when the tree fell....did it actually hit the house or just the front yard???
The tree NARROWLY missed the house. The worst that happened was they had to go through their back door to get in and out.
@@JeronRush327 THANK YOU for answering.

I don’t remember getting hit that badly from that derecho.

it wasnt a tornado, it was just a line of bad wind
People living in the DERECHO Areas NEVER seem to trim their trees ! OH WELL
At 2:17 you’ll see a 93 mph gust.
That was more like 60-65mph. 90mph would of easily knocked those trees out.

Flashbacks of August 10 2020 derecho of 90 mph winds hit my area
I got really triggered by the fact that both times the tree fell a little you moved the camera
100mph seriously? Dude I wouldn't even be able to stand there lol
It was close, there was a 93 mph gust. That’s why I closed the door for a few seconds around 2:21.
Holy crap.
nice
That ain’t shit.
