Aloha Ty. This video is perfect in that one of my buddies after 48 years of living here in Hawai'i decided to retire to Port Lavaca not very far from Port O'Connor. He's invited me to come visit him and take him fishing. He is not a die-hard fisherman like we are so I'll have to be showing him the ropes. This video gives me an idea of what to expect. Mahalo nui.

Great video and nice fish. I think your popping cork was upside down though. The heavy(metal beaded) end goes down. The plastic beaded side ties to your main line
Brass bead was down. It won’t cast right unless weight is on bottom.

Love those popping corks with the flex wire. Always hated the stiff wire? I would cut the stiff wire corks and remake the cork assembly on 100# test. cool stuff and some big fish! lotta fun!

Fine video, and good fishing. What were the approximate time intervals? From dawn until ... ? Fishbites, yet again! Did the Rage Swimmers have dose of ProCure on them? We'll be trying the P. C. crayfish/garlic Smallmouth scent on a float trip soon. Plan to tip some jigs with Fishbites as well. The "Crab" flavor is probably closest to Crayfish.
Heat of summer we only fish day break till 11 or so. No pro cure.

If that is a Paradise Popper, that's a Titanium-Tuff wire and you can't bend it, it will always be straight. Been using those every since they came out for years now!

Hey ty, how do you mount your gopro when moving positions? I just bought one and trying to find a way to mount on my hat then put it somewhere in the front when I've caught a fish for pics.
I use a gator clip. Made by Rex del ray LIVELIVE .com. I clip it to my buff or shirt on neck. Then I can set it anywhere after that
