I know your comment is 2 years old but I wanna say that you don't need emg pickups to get that tone.charles berthoud gets victors tone and groove on point with his lefay bass and it sounds amazing.

Very good indeed, only little thing to improve is the muting of the strings your not playing, there is a little bit of bleed from mostly the A string in some beats, for the rest.... The best cover I've seen so far! Keep slapping that bAss bro!

If you’re not comfortable playing whit double thumb you can figurate how to play it in a style tha is more yours
