- Noah Sebastian from BAD OMENS stopped by to chat with The Point's Liv Maddix backstage at POINTFEST on May 27, 2023. Noah shares some background on how "The Death Of Peace Of Mind" started as an instrumental track recorded with no actual instruments, how "Just Pretend" started as sort of a joke to fit a certain "song" formula, and how almost every song on the album has an interesting backstory. Liv asks Noah about throwing out signed Uncrustables and marshmallows to the crowd. Liv brings out her coworker, Rian, who is a HUGE Bad Omens fan to ask Noah a couple of questions from a fan perspective. Bad Omens is the first band to excite me since Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit days. Chester was the love of my life and will always have a place in my heart but Noah Sebastian has taken over. So proud of their success but part of me wants to keep them small but the other side of me wants all their dreams to come true so here’s to whatever dreams they have! 👑 🖤💀🤘🏻 they are Killing it!!
Literally same. I stopped listening to music overall when Chester died and Bad Omens is kinda reawakening that part of my life again

Chester wrote his downfall.. so sad but his memory will transcend a few eras.
And to those who've who gave up on music...music is why. I'm here.. do I like the song no but I respect that grind. Music has kept me alive.
Same! The last artist to truly captivate me was Chester. Noah and Bad Omens have definitely made me excited about music again.
He was totally pissed that everyone in the pit were like stones. Not much movement at all in there. I hope he doesn't think that's what st louis will be like every time 😢 They did an amazing job and it must have been really flippin hard to keep up the energy that he did while singing when no one was dancing or anything! I hope they come back for another show bc I need to be in the pit next time!

They are in Europe in January, I got tickets to see them in the same like up as Bring me the horizon. Its gonna be insane!
Yeah, they'll be in Europe again in January and February. January they'll join BMTH in the UK and then in February they have their own small tour CONCRETE FOREVER. I bought tickets for the last show - Feb 11th in Milan. It will be my first time in Italy and my first heavy music concert!

i was there that day and it was a blast!! i wish i would've been in the pit tho, their performance was amazing and people just weren't into it as much as they should've been. i hope i get to see them again and be closer to the stage next time

Bong Joon-Ho films mainly have a hyper, crisp clarity contrasted with somewhat imperfect/sloppy editing, technically the director himself is not the cinematographer. The aesthetic isn't difficult to recreate thematically and would fit in well with BO (if not already somewhat has in their nowhere to go mv) but it is rare to see a film director, direct a mv. Doesn't usually happen unless both seek mutual clout. Alex Garland's Men is a cool reference though, I guess.
