Juki DU-1181N sewing over uneven layers

When I'm sewing from fewer to more layers, I get looping on the underside of my fabric. Should making these two presser foot adjustments help with this problem? Also, I watched a video where a woman would tighten the tension when sewing over thicker layers, then loosen it again. Love your videos. Thanks for your help.

I am sewing bags with consew p1206 and your problem is walking foot. It should have teeth to grab vinyl even at the start of multilayering . Also increasing vertical motion of BOTH feet will add to perfection.

How do you increase the verticle motion?

I have this machine and increasing the vertical motion of the feet helps a great deal with going over humps and feeding un even thicknesses

We have a servo motor installed on the machine.

Whatever he is doing is not supported by the instructional manual. This is highly advanced machine made by highly effective mind. Read the manual and get basic clue. Look page 74 and and 76. You will get the right answer. I see what you are trying to do. Sorry bro.
