You can upgrade your Granadier Squad with these rifles (doctrine) you picked from the start and they will get ability to change weapons (long and short range) so they will be good in all ranges.
@@Achilles-Gaming They can switch the weapons automatically. So when they are close they use close range weapons and when they are shooting on range they automatically change on rifle :). You can compete with all their units after this upgrade and not only be range. They delete every basic unit in close combat.
