1984 is also the George Orwell dystopian novel. Narrator is Kit, who did the spoken word bible verse intro to Money Ties & was the singer in Slaughter House. Female character is Pandora (according to the info under the video) and amazingly, she's played by Brigita (see next point). It's not *exactly* merch (I mean, for Ren fans, it might as well be) - this is a separate entity from Ren's music (& his regular merch). He and Brigita (who is the mastermind designer behind Ren's merch... she created the special book that the video for Precious by The Big Push, is animated from, and I think she's the one who designed the figurines Ren's always sold - angry car park attendant, hostage from Money Game, and she did all the album art for everything with Sick Boi, etc)... anyway, Ren and Brigita have, as of yesterday, finally launched the clothing line they've been working on for the past 18 months. High quality, ethically-sourced materials/labour stuff. The "catch" is that at their current ability/whatever to have it produced, they can only offer it in batches (this run sold out within 24hrs apparently). Each batch will be a new part of the collection or something, and will be accompanied by another episode of this mini series promo thing. I imagine this helps Ren; if his music career is ended prematurely - or significantly limited - by his illness, if the the clothing line does OK it will help him not have to worry about whatever he needs regarding health care going forward, and I'm guessing it operates (or can be made to operate) without Ren having to be intrinsically & intricately involved. The promo film also serves as more serious "proof of concept" for Ren and Sam Perry-Falvey to pitch their ideas to Netflix (or wherever). Meanwhile, Brigita herself is "just" someone Ren went to public school with in Anglesey. Here she is, not only having done a ton of very successful merch for Ren over the years, and not only graduating to full-fledged (hopefully successful) streetwear line designer... but also starring in the promo films. I mean, I have no actual knowledge that she will be the central figure except that I doubt a character named Pandora is just an extra in a project called The Flame of Prometheus... Pandora is Prometheus' wife, in the myth. And the narration set her up as the "human girl from the prophecy."
