- Sometimes I just sit in my office / studio and just jam like this for hours. I usually don’t bother recording these jams because there are a lot of mistakes and boring parts.
Sometimes I think about going through these old videos to pick out the best bits and actually make a real song from start to finish. But then, I realize that I just have more fun sitting around making crap for myself and being in like a zen type of state of mind.
Sometimes I do this for hours....oh yeah. Jamming is so much fun often and hitting the stop button is the least of my concerns ;) Keep on jammin'!
Yeah… it’s easy to lose track of time. And probably 95% of what I jam out is crap but that 5% of the time when something cool comes out is totally worth it.
@@LunchBandit Sometimes, what's crap for someone is gold for someone else ;) Besides, having fun is the whole point.
Nice. I jam a lot on my breaks at work. An iPad a keyboard and my wind controller.
I don’t ever jam during work hours because it’s too easy for me to lose track of time. It’s like, I blink and 3 hours have passed and all I’ve done is doodle over an 8 bar loop.
It’s makes me more disciplined and efficient. I get two 15 min breaks plus a 30 min lunch. I sketch out a beat or song then finish it at home. It may escape.
Why wind controller pitched so flat
To sound like a jazzy trumpet. I guess I went too far with the pitch bending.

He's got real EWIs. I've got like...a practice saxophone. His are meant for actual performance while mine was just designed for sax players who wanna practice without making too much noise.

Thanks. Most of the synths are second hand from eBay or reverb. The paintings were images I found online and sent to a cheap canvas printer.
