- Tutorial video showing how to scratch build 1/35 scale dioramas using carboard and polystyrene. For dioramas, wargaming or OO/HO train layouts. "how to" tips and ideas for scale modelling on a budget
Hi Don, I think the edges look fine, your not entering a competition. I have 45 plus kits to start working on, ill health is stopping me but your video's really keep me positive. The brick wall looks great, the full bricks at the end of the wall look amazing, great detail. Thanks for sharing Don
Loved how you make your brick walls. But you just took it to the next level. Really well done!
Great explanation on your process, Don. Thanks for posting.
Actually, Don, the way you had been depicting broken brick wall ends up until now looks more than adequate. The viewer had to get about six inches (or about 18 scale feet) away from the broken wall before they would notice it looked a bit "off."
This new way - though more labor-intensive - will hold-up to closer scrutiny. But unless you are planning to enter an IPMS National event, (or just build a personal-best diorama,) your original method (which incidentally, was good enough for Shep Paine) is already good enough for museum-quality display. That said, you can't argue with the end results of this new method . . . .
Armored Train.
21st like.
Looks great, Don.
Hi Don, I noticed your subs are over 5.3k, well done mate. Keep going mate.
❤ nice job
Excellent job Don! I've just done the same thing with a Tiger tank crashing through a wall.
Thanks Don, that looks pretty darn good.
Cheers bud.
