    Does this product actually read and recognize the materials you test with it ?
    Or will it only recognize things in its / "or a " database or ?

      Hello Jim ! Our sincere apologies for not noticing your comment earlier.
      To answer your question, LinkSquare needs to build a database of spectral fingerprints in order to distinguish, identify or authenticate items.
