Found the Chain of an old British Military Pith Helmet while metal detecting in South Africa ⛑️

It is always rewarding saving history while metal detecting. Especially when you recover old military type relics.
I had the privilege to find this chain which is from a pith helmet, most likely British. This would have been from the late 1800s / 1900s possibly during the Anglo-Boer War period.
