Mike, that was me who mentioned the lion cookie jar! It is worth money because it was the same one they had in Only Fools and Horses, I sold mine for £300, paid £2 and didn’t know when I picked it up it was worth anything, I just thought it was cute and inspired by you I bought it. Bizarrely the week after I picked another one up without the lid and sold that for about £75 🎉
@@Lomie32 yes that’s right. I thought it was you but wasn’t 100%. It was a while back wasn’t it. Hopefully I’ll find one one day. I’ve had a few similar now. It’s mad how somethings you find these unusual things back to back. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Really cool finds Mike . 😊 And that’s it as you mentioned at the end , you just have to keep going turn up and put yourself in front of these items. Each week is different but we keep on going . I hear often! there’s nothing to source anymore at Car Boots or Charity shops , like ! what do people expect their gunna walk out each day and week with constant amazing items .

@@rosemarymee I hadn’t even thought of the possible smell, I was just thinking how awkward it is to get in and out of the pens when you wanted to see the items that people are selling especially when other people are queuing to get into them as well 😳
@@treetomb8560 I know what you mean. It’s pretty awkward at times. Someone who watches actually implied I should be taking a trolly/ wagon round! Can you imagine a trolly somewhere like that! Madness. Thanks for watching 👍
@rosemarymee - I have cleaned many Le Creuset saucepans. However, you will not get them to look new again. First of all don't use any abrasives of any kind, it will only take off the enamel. The way I clean my Le Creuset saucepans - I use bleach. Fill the saucepan with a mix of water and a high conserate of bleach, to the rim of the saucepan. Leave for about 3 days, then empty, and wash in soapy water. Depending on how dirty the pans are, it should take off a lot of the dirt. This is the method I use, and it works for me. And now for the caveat - if you try this method it's at your own risk.
@@rosemarymee - Even the pan cleaning stuff Le Creuset sell on their website to clean their pans with is no guarantee to get them to look spick and span again. The art is to thoroughly clean them every time you've used them.

Never seen or heard of those Matchbox carousel toys before, very cool. Good condition as well by the looks of it.
@@antteeter7646 yeah most are. 2 bit rough but considering their age and the layer of dust that was on them, they are pretty good. Thanks for watching

I couldn't hack it in there, too claustrophobic! The nice finds made up for it though.

Is there a way of cleaning the inside of that Le Creuset type pan so it looks better ?
Yes, it’s called elbow grease! 😉👍🏻
