Wonderful video! Though I understand that the full effect of the forest, and the gargantuan size of the Boy Scout tree, can only be experienced in person, you captured it wonderfully. I was so transfixed by it and the rest of the forest you showed that played that footage more than once. It's likely that the Boy Scout tree and some of those other "beautiful giants," as you so well put it, are close to a thousand or two thousand years old. Mind-boggling and very humbling, indeed. 😌 I really admire and respect your reverence for them.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and yes the trees were mind blowing. I’m so glad you got to see just how massive and impressive they are 🤩 it makes you feel tiny walking among them
Those redwoods are amazing! Have never gotten to see them in person so thanks for all of the closeups and showing us the Boy Scout tree. The boys are on their own while you’re in Cleveland Natalie, so take care of each other TJ and Camo!
Majestic!Redwoods. In my home church yard, the former Rector from long ago planted a redwood. This is in Eastern North Carolina.Enjoyed this leg of journey.
Phew that’s good to hear, we are beating ourselves up over here trying to make sure the videos and adventures are on par with our previous stuff so that made my day 🥰
What a magical place. I’ve never been to the red wood Forrest and never seen a better video of it. Felt sorry and worried a bit with Camo left behind. Hope you gave him some extra hugs.
Awe well thank you, so glad you enjoyed it! It is really a spectacular place, and not to worry we did bring Camo on a hike as well. There was one he was allowed on so we hiked that same one quite a bit! But I will admit the redwoods were not his favorite stop lol 😆
What an absolutely magical place! Really loving following along on your adventures! Keep up the great work and awesome content, by far my favorite channel on the tube! Don't lose the drone in those Redwood trees, you'll never get it back! Safe travels to Cleveland Natalie and I have 100% confidence that TJ and Camo will successfully navigate back home to pick you up! Looking forward to next week!
The redwoods are enchanting 🤩 we are so glad to have you along for the adventure and are so glad you are enjoying the videos! Lol right?! I don’t know if even a professional baseball player would be able to help us out in those trees 😂
I attended Humboldt State University, just north of Eureka and I was going to the Redwoods all of the time and my favorite was Jedediah Smith’s Stout Grove! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing trip to Northwestern Califonia’s Redwood coast and for bringing back beautiful memories for me. I bet that visiting this incredible area will be at the top of everything that you’ve seen in the world. Just imagine what it was like before the Logging, when it looked like the old growth Redwood groves for miles and miles!
Wow you went to college in an absolutely beautiful place!! I’m jealous that you got to spend so much time there! And I agree stout grove is so beautiful and impressive 😍 I’m so glad we could bring you down memory lane! And I think about that so often I would love to see what it looked like 300 years ago, 1,000 years ago, 10,000 years ago!!
That’s so awesome! The wedding I’m going to is near Aurora but I’ll be heading downtown to get some food at Townhall and ice cream at Mirchells while I’m in town!!
I love that you feed Camo a home made diet. I feed my Westie home made of lean turkey, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans and mixed peas with carrots. He is 13 but has the weight, health and energy of a dog half his age. I do believe the reason people lose their pets to soon to cancer if from processed dog food.
Yes I completely agree, the Whole Foods are so much better for them (and us! Lol) I’ve heard many stories like yours about people with older dogs who act and look much younger and they credit it to a homemade diet 💕
I know poor pup didn’t like the redwoods stop very much 😞 but we did find a trail to take him On and brought him there a bunch! And wow I’m sure it was even more magical in the 70s when less people were there
I never sleep well if I go to bed with a full stomach and weird dreams are definitely part of it. I can’t wait to hear about your week apart and the troubles that ensued!
Do you ever listen to books as you drive? A few you might really enjoy together is The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben and Finding the Mother Tree by Suzanne Simard. If you are fascinated by trees now you will be mind blown after a few chapters of these books. California is my home state and I like to imagine the paradise there of 3-4 hundred years ago, before cars and crowds. Thanks for sharing!
The redwoods forest is like vancouver island same kind of trees totally awesome guys... I wonder how many houses a person could build with one tree....things that make ya go hmmmmmm....lol
Oh very good to know! I’ve only heard great things about Vancouver and now I have another awesome thing to add to the Vancouver list! Lol hmmm I hadn’t thought of that before. How many and what size 🤔
Oh it’s definitely not just you. It’s insane how small you feel walking in those woods. The trees are massive and ominous. It’s almost creepy to me because they are so huge! And yes we are getting one soon just trying to decide on the system we want!
Lol you are correct. Been in Europe yes, driven in Europe no 😆 but I did live in Spain for a while where the streets were so narrow you had to stand in the doorways when cars drove by. I loved it 😍
just friken awesome not be a crikey! but if you cook for the camo like that can i come and live with you i can bark but i have a cat cook for her to (woow so how is your DAD) AND JUST AWESOME THANK YOU FOR TAKING ME ALONG
hahahahah I know he is a spoiled little puppy dog! And my dad is doing great thanks for asking :) He is happy and enjoying land life in Florida. And thanks for joining along for the adventures
You are right, we are looking at getting some water bottles that we can just scoop water into and filter as we drink, I LOVE drinking fresh River water. Tastes how water should taste 😍 luckily the filtered water fill up is only like $0.20 a gallon so pretty cheap!

I (Natalie) don’t sleep well either if I’m too full! And Tj and Camo on their own just sounds like trouble doesn’t it hahaha 🤣
@@adventures I love you, Natalie!
Amaizing!!!!
The Redwoods really are so incredible

You guys should get a water filtration system. Don't you love how the trees make you feel so tiny? Idk, maybe it's just me. LOL

That’s our plan 💕🥰
Lekker man lekker
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed. Glad to have you along for the adventure:)
Don’t forget, I believe they filmed Star Wars “Return of the Jedi” in the forest
Oh I didn’t know that. Thanks for the fun fact!
@@adventures yes, may the force be with you lol
New episode! Cool! Where are the Ewoks?! :) hehe
Lol for real!! It makes you feel like you could see anything when you are in those woods!!
Chicken noodle soup looked amazing did you follow a recipe?
I made my own but I am going to post a video just about east Rv meals soon and I’ll include the recipe then :)
i hope you get as chance to see Kings Canyon State Park, in the sequoia's
It’s on our list for sure! So many places to see it’s always so hard to pick what is next!!
@@adventures Yellowstone, Yosemite, The Dakota Badlands, so many places
None of them are big cities, though
Haha I agree. Big cities aren’t really on our to do list, we like staying out in the boonies lol

Why go buy water when you have a beautiful river near by. Boil the water to sterilize it!
