So excited for this! Can we acknowledge how much Steel Wool has improved in terms of their jumpscare animations?? I remember being a bit underwhelmed when I played the first game, the animations felt too close and the movements were all so jittery and felt more silly than they did scary (I still *love* the OG Help Wanted, don't get me wrong!) Seeing that Ballora jumpscare at the end of the HW2 trailer has given me SO much hope, I think Steel Wool has definitely refined their animations! So hyped! 💗

The amount of content they've thrown at us all at once is CRAZY. The fact it's all releasing THIS year is also INSANE. Absolutely shocked.
It's also smart. The movie trailer has taken off so much online that FNaF is hot again, somewhat approaching where it was at its peak. If the movie is a hit, it could bring in a bunch of new fans too, so it is a good time to be releasing new games (Ruin DLC probably was more of a coincidence, since that is just DLC for a pre-existing game).
Imagine calling Steel Wool lazy, because of not releasing Ruin last year lol
A lot of content beig poured also worries me of the quality of it tho, Security Breach took it's time and still launched pretty broken, so the idea of Steel Wool making two releases in the exact same year seems kinda fishy ngl

@@HeroNarvar I don't think they'll make the same mistake again, they learned their lesson. Also, they probably made sure that the DLC (and Help wanted 2) will be playable and less buggy.
If steel woll pulls off their releases on schedule with polish clearly I think that will definitely restore the community's faith in them

How does Steel Wool have the time to release all this in one year? Help Wanted was one of my favorite game sever, and now it finally gets Ballora, Sister Location and Pizzeria Sim maybe? By the way, there already are incredible fan game who tried to do this.
If they do a Security Breach Section I would love to see something with the Daycare Attendant. Like imagine being stuck in a dark daycare themed room and your only defense is your flashlight. You have to turn on a generator. Whenever Moon approaches you can only shine your light on him causing him to retreat, but it causes him to get more aggressive.
I think it would be a bit difficult to make security breach in vr, but I would like to see it
@@Turbo_135 Not exactly make it in VR, but use assets for it to make themed minigames, like the dark room minigames from the original Help Wanted, or the Foxy the Pirate on-rails shooter game from the Curse of Dreadbear DLC.

Wow. Even as someone who isnt really interested in FNAF anymore, I still felt really happy when I saw this, hell, I'm happy with everything we've gotten this month so far. I'm excited for the movie (definitely watching it), the trailer for the dlc had me literally speechless, and now a sequel to help wanted?! When its released on Oculus, I'm going to play the heck out of it. This really is the year for FNAF. (Just a little side question, who else is hyped for Insomniac's Spider-Man 2?)
Bless you bud, my thoughts exactly. I don't actually play the games, I mostly follow the lore but seeing the fans get so hyped is such a treat. And in answer to your question I think literally everyone including myself is hyped for Spider-Man 2.

This just made 2023 from one of my lowest years to one of the greatest years for me.
I can't estimate how big my gratitude for this franchise's existence is.
For me, it all started with my big brother trolling me with a Nightmare Freddy jumpscare when I was 7, with me not know what a Freddy Fazbear was at the time. Now look how proud I am to be a FNAF fan.

FNAF over the years has certainly become more and more cringy as well as annoying in various ways; my comment being annoying by nature as well. In fact, I've become more of a FNAF fan for the lore than what I've used to be. But personally (and historically), we really haven't had such great things appear in such a short span for FNAF in quite some time. And, it definitely makes me glad to see what the community has been given as of late. :D

I lost hope for this franchise for a couple years after being a massive fan since 2015, security breach didn’t help, but, I nearly cried, in fact I did tear up because of how emotional it got me to see the dying franchise coming back (Afton ref), with the dlc, the books, the movie, the game all in one year. You know what would be great? If we got more with Baby in the Sister Location section. We had the closet and all that in the original Help Wanted, but even in SL itself we never had much with her at all, even though she was framed to be the main antagonist. It would be cool if we got a large section involving Baby talking to the player or interacting with her in some way that isn’t her lying dead on a conveyor belt.

It was so amazing seeing Dawko react to this on live, I was in the stream with him but watching it for a trailer to a different game and all the suddenly the screen goes black and you just see sister location and his reaction was so great!! I had just the same reaction as him as literally there was no word said about it and it was so cool seeing the Help Wanted 2 screen as it filled me with joy and I was not expecting it.

I think the whole "another week" thing is more just an acknowledgment that this is a sequel, but phrased with corporate language. They did it with Ruin too, saying "returning guests will be granted free admission to the Pizzaplex" which was just to say Ruin was free if you owned SB
This is genuinely exciting. Help Wanted was probably my favorite FNAF game, just with how visceral the whole experience was, and how genuinely scary it was. I am totally hooked, i can't believe they're already making a sequel for this. I Can't wait!

@@chum9017 My feeling is that I'd rather the game be fun first and foremost and scary at a close second. I think the Pizzaplex attractions could work in VR and be scary or at least unnerving if done right.
Fazer Blast for instance, I'm thinking about how the game "Duck Season" turned a goofy midway game into a tense home invasion horror story.

@@SuperPrestogamer You're entitled to your opinion of course. I feel like a game should be fun, and if a horror game is fun because it is scary, then all the better. But in a variety show minigame collection like FNAF VR, there's room for more than just the same scares we've seen before, in a dark room with animatronics stalking you. I want to see new horror ideas. Just as an example, I could see a virtual bowling game that turns oddly sinister with the bowling animations for strikes becoming increasingly grotesque being interesting. Or a racing game where the courses have hidden glitchy "shortcuts" with dark secrets behind the scenes. My hope is the same as Dawko's: that there will be plenty of very unique ideas for segments and ways to engage with FNAF characters and locations that are particularly immersive in VR.

I really feel like this could be a direct sequel to sister location but in VR. Which is really crazy to think about, and judging how Handunit greets us in the elevator like we've been here before tells me this might be either a sister location sequel or a WHOLE NEW GAME...
Remember, FNAF1-6 (I doubt about UCN, it's impossible for lore, even FFPS is dubious idea, because no one should survive in this fire and told to developer story about it) is kinda exist inside FNAF universe, so it's could be a sequel to the Freddy Fazbear's Virtual Experience, dropped after PizzaPlex fire and that's why (maybe) it'll have Security Breach segments

Also I made a mistake. In FNAF universe exist three games, made by indie developer Steve (it's a Scott analogue inside FNAF universe) and probably part of four, before he was killed (Help Wanted novel in the second Tales from the PizzaPlex)
So, original Freddy Fazbear's Virtual Experience is remake of his games and a game modes based on unfinished fourth game with additions, based, probably, on information about William and Michael Afton.

Theory: since help wanted 1 was just in its beta form (canonically) i think this one is going to be the one that will actually be playable to everyone in the fnaf universe, and also i think that there are going to be sister location nights, fnaf 6 nights and maybe UCN challenges since in the first one we only got to see fnaf 1-2-3 nights from 1-4. also, the guy says that it’s not our first time in here because canonically scott published fnaf 5 before, so we know that michael has been there and they let us think that we play as him.

I hope we get fnaf 4 levels (proper levels based on the game) golden Freddy being in the overall game’s story (I heard there might not be one though), and pizza sim levels, maybe even custom night levels with hard mode having a vr 50/20 mode. It would be cool, but I wonder how they’ll make it similar in length to the last one. Maybe some miscellaneous things.
