Check out Derek outtakes! Some hilarious Karl moments in there, as well as Ricky being hilarious. Season 1 and 2 outtakes are fantastic. The show itself is brilliant, it’s about an old people’s home, and Derek works there and is a bit ‘slow’ for want of a better phrase. It’s really quite sad at times, definitely a show to watch in your spare time.

I had a gardening experience like yours. When I was about 14/15 I used to mow a lawn for an old lady nearby. She paid me £6 each time which was OK, but one day her Greyhound escaped, and I had to chase after this dog; it took me a good 15 minutes to get the dog back. I expected maybe a bit of extra pay for it. Nope, still got £6. Stopped mowing her lawn after that

A bit of an idea for you... I know you said you'd rather listen to the radio stuff in your own time as podcasts etc. But Karl did a weekly feature called Rockbusters, where he gives you a cryptic clue, and initials, and you have to guess the artist. It might work if you do a few of those in a video and just write down the time stamp or something so you can carry on another time. I'd love to see you play along and react to the answers like a quiz. Some of them are insanely funny.

I know some guys on here want you to watch some Only Fools and Horses stuff, but you need to see some stuff from "Bottom" Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonson are slapstick legends over here.
    RIP Rik

Short clip here. Peter Serafinowicz, the guy who plays The Tick and the voice of Darth Maul.
Anyway, this is one of his best characters. Enjoy :)

I get what your saying about people "taking advantage" of kids...but he wasn't working in a sweatshop, he was a paperboy and was paid for it and still stole haha
I think the most intriguing thing about Karl Pilkington, is the mental gymnastics people do to make his points make sense or to make them sound not as mean spirited as they are hahaha

I'm a few years older than Karl and I love how he said his childhood paper rout only made him 50p (about 50 cents) a day back when he was a kid. Back in the mid to late 80s in the USA minimum wage was something like $3.80/hour, there's no way things were so bad he only made 50p for the day.

In the UK the paper rout is just a agreement with the shopkeeper, you get paid in cash, no minimum wage or anything.
