I’m so pissed- I know how real writing works and this had so much potential for once and the « ending » just set that plane crashing so hard. Damn. Lemme explain
In a story a protagonist has internal conflict. AND FOR ONCE a gacha story rly had internal conflict! Usually they’re mary sues and there’s just some mean girl who gets in the way. But for once the set up was good
The girl’s issue was a lack of attention aside from spoiling her with money. She was even jealous just because he was talking with a girl. That would make such good conflict if she just didn’t say she was jealous. Like when the date ended she didn’t complain. If it just built up it would’ve been great
What I also love is the guy’s love language is gifts but hers isn’t. Instead of being with her he would think he can just buy her things. If he was raised rich that would make sense too with his parents. So it makes so much sense
It would’ve made such great conflict and a real story. But the problem is she just told him it was troubling her. Also i think it’s stupid that he agrees. She got mad bc he was talking with his WORKER that is so obviously wrong so it’s so dumb that he fires her. That makes no sense. The worker doesn’t deserve that. Even if she might’ve been attracted to him, it’s not a sin or a crime, she doesn’t deserve that. She can’t be fired just bc his gf is insecure, that’s toxic. Yes protagonists should have problems, internal conflict and be wrong at the start but not at the end. The whole point of the story is to make them change and grow
It would’ve been rly wonderful if she got rly jealous and mb lashed out and done something embarrassing. Mb at his job and they just argued about it bc she didn’t communicate her feelings well and it built up until she lashed out. Then, she learned she was wrong and apologized. Now that is real story writing
