Totally inappropriate for the members of the Armed Forces to be saluting a Bishop!!!!! and if I was still on active duty in my capacity as a First Sergeant, I would have a stern conversation with the Air Force Chief of Chaplains-in fact, an email will be sent so this will never, ever happen again in the ranks.. Absolutely inappropriate!!!!! and shameful for that body would allow such an act of disrespect to the men and women in uniform. Military personnel DO NOT salute Bishops!!!!!!! PERIOD!!! and give them equivalency and courtesy as we give to our fallen comrades!!!!! If any of you Bishops see, this do not allow this to happen again!.. Your body preached on how some churches have lost their way with antics, well this ranks right up their with a made up ritual and does not aligned with the discipline and honor of military personnel.
