I adore these productions. They cause me to yearn for more peaceful times. Did anyone notice the cat in the chicken coup? Pretty sweet! I think it is time to adopt out the kittens and get the adults spayed and neutered. George is so adorable. I wish he were a house cat.
Thank you. I completely understand your concern about the cats. I can only say that life is truly so different out in the country. This is just the norm around where I live, where cats live freely outside and are their own owners. Each of these cats has shown up on our farm of their own accord, or were dumped on the corner at the end of our property (it happens a lot). I try my best to feed them, and if I can afford it, get them fixed. It costs over $300 per cat at my local vet, so I cannot always afford to get them fixed unfortunately. I just try my best to provide warm shelters in the winter and food for them. Thankfully, they are not a nuisance to anyone but myself as we do not have close neighbors for them to bother.
I enjoy watching your videos. Your cats and kittens are so sweet. I remember picking berries when I was a kid and always enjoyed it. Enjoy the rest of your summer.😊

As a young girl I remember picking the blackberries on my aunts farm well eating more than collecting then we d get in the go cart to fly down hill to the chicken coop to collect the eggs for her only problem we had to drag the go cart back up had such fun

Thank you! It's a concrete countertop. My dad and husband poured it. I absolutely love it! I'm not sure that I would put one inside of my house as the process was absolutely horrendous (it's a HUGE mess) and it weighs over 1,000 pounds. BUT - it's held up great and looks beautiful. Ha!

Love love love your videos! Do u have any tips on how to care for blue berries and raspberries? I planted them in large pots and would like to plant them out in the yard before the fall. I’m also growing sweet onions for the first time as well. Hopefully if they grown well I will be planting carrots and sugar snap peas next year
Thank you so much for watching! I don't really have any particular tips that help for growing berries. I don't grow blueberries (currently), as they are a bit difficult to grow. They prefer a more acidic soil with a sandy loam, so I would have to really change the composition of the soil we have here in Iowa. If they are young plants, I would continue to make sure they are well watered, and apply compost and mulch when you transplant them in the fall or spring.
I love your videos so much but I have such a hard time seeing your captions. Would you ever consider doing voiceovers for people with vision issues? I think it would allow so many more people to enjoy your soothing, beautiful videos!
Hi! I'm sorry that the captions are difficult for you to see. I don't currently plan on recording voiceovers, but I can recommend turning on the closed captions to play over the captions I have. They are a bit easier to see. I will try to update my own captions for future videos!
