Creating an engaging and well-structured obby (obstacle course) in Roblox’s Obby Creator involves several steps: 1. Plan Your Obby: Before you start building, sketch out your obby’s layout. Decide on the theme, the type of obstacles, and the overall difficulty level. 2. Use Checkpoints Wisely: Place checkpoints at strategic points in your obby to save players’ progress. This helps maintain a balance between challenge and frustration. 3. Variety of Obstacles: Include a mix of obstacles such as jumps, moving platforms, spinning objects, and lava pits. This keeps the gameplay interesting and engaging. 4. Test Each Section: Regularly test each section of your obby as you build to ensure it’s playable and fair. Make adjustments based on your experience and feedback from others. 5. Aesthetics Matter: Pay attention to the design and aesthetics of your obby. Use different materials, colors, and decorations to make it visually appealing. 6. Smooth Difficulty Curve: Start with easier obstacles and gradually increase the difficulty. This helps new players get accustomed to the game mechanics. 7. Incorporate Feedback: If you have friends or other players who can test your obby, take their feedback seriously. Make improvements based on their suggestions. 8. Use Scripts for Dynamic Elements: If you’re familiar with scripting, use scripts to create dynamic elements like moving platforms, timed doors, and other interactive features. 9. Play Other Obbys: Gain inspiration by playing other popular obbys. Observe what works well and what doesn’t, and apply those insights to your own creation. 10. Consistent Theme: Keep a consistent theme throughout your obby to create a cohesive experience. Whether it’s a space adventure, jungle escape, or anything else, stick to the theme in both obstacles and design. 11. Add Sound and Effects: Use sound effects and visual effects to enhance the immersive experience. Properly timed sounds and effects can make your obby more exciting. 12. Reward Players: Consider adding rewards or achievements for completing your obby. This can be a great incentive for players to keep trying and improving. By following these steps, you can create a well-designed, enjoyable, and challenging obby in Roblox’s Obby Creator.
1. Making Roleplay game would be such idea with apartments or hotels etc. 2. Obby comparison areas, to make some objects and not others bright Obby. 3. Scary horror would be nice for Doors. the game xould be for the playable! 4. Rewards would be for the game experimentals settings! Or the game menu
Tip 1 is the best for me, althought i basically save money and make them not inside each other (Unless it can increase part limit then im down for that tech
I would not recommend 0:36, that will make it worse, because when you have to make the wall taller it will be smaller than normal. Instead, just make the part smaller so it does not collide. Another tip i have is to enable shadows but use light, that will make it better for your obby. The color of ambient needs to be warm so it fits, depends, in horror games you need the screen dark. If you do not know the perfect color for the part, set it to the brightest. This will make the colors better. If you have problems with light parts, do not worry. Just go to properties - lighting 1.25 or less or more
i hate obby creator. its an good game. but its fandom. when you build an skibidi toilet obby or someting people doesnt like. they just spam hate and harrass u. if u even made an skibidi toilet build that needed 5 hours or more. people still harrasses u. thats why i hate obby creator. and creator of this channel hates skibidi toilet too. probably.
Here are some several tips if youre trying to make a working ability in obby creator: 1. The button contraption should *ALWAYS* stay close to you if youre currently making an ability. this makes finding mistakes easier 2. Use just little scale/move offset if you want better results. 3. Use particles correctly. Dont make them too bright or not bright at all, and make it seem more sense and sync to what the ability is actually gonna do. 4. Add endlag if its a fighting obby. adding endlag is really easy, just make the player freeze slightly longer by adding global properties part (set walk to 0) at the START of the ability's button contraption, then delaying the next one (set walk to 16) at the very end. hope this helps UNNECESSARY: I have an obby dedicated to fighting with abilities. the ID is 2437507342#2. Also the obby may not be perfect as it seems so dont reply by saying "the abilities are bad". I know they are, and i will keep trying to fix it. also pls pin ☺️
