I don’t know why I bother going into university when I can just watch good videos like this and understand it straight away, teachers go way too quickly and just assume you know what they’re talking about. This video has taught me more than the whole current semester.
I dont know why i bothered either, i end up not understanding anything all lecture, then coming home and going over it again, i might as well just not turn up.
Love that you provide so many examples for us to see how it works, many of the videos on RUclips just give explanation without examples and it's hard to understand.
ive been procrastinating on catching up on this chapter because the textbook makes it look so hard, but this video helped me immensely, thank you so much !!
Ive been itching to take the extra step and learn differentiation before my class but i have been apprehensive so far, however this video has given me buckets of clarity on the matter, Thank you so much
I have been struggling to understand differentiation but now I start getting the idea. I never learned it in my O level 57 years ago but being mathematics addic I am still following the subject in the TUBE. You owe me respect dear teacher. Greetings from Zanzibar
I normally don't comment on videos, but this video is absolutely amazing. Very helpful and clear and concise explanation of differentiation. Thank You so much!
I'm beyond thankful that this guy explains how he got his answer step by step regardless of how many times he does it. It helps my understanding. Hope you guys ace your exams, because my school kind of abandoned me 💀
If I study this every single morning I think I can get it. I am wanting to eventually understand 3 dimensional differentiation/vector calculus to help understand quantum mechanics!!!
So just failed my maths paper because of differentiation and integration. Videos like these are helping me quite alot. In the paper its like I almost have the concepts but theres some component that im missing so im just binging so that i can find that...so why not start at the basics. I like thinking maths is easy its just that theres a gap somewhere in your foundations keeping you from understanding, so find that and work on it and boom!!Maths is easy...its worked for me so far. I just didnt think integration would have such a big role in the paper so i didnt really study it...also a big nono if you ask me...Try to touch on everything in the syllabus guys!!!
thx 🙏, my calculus teacher for my 3rd yr engineering (which is mostly theoretical) teacher in college doesn’t explain but just put stuff on the board. this is straightforward, i think 🤔 a grade 5-6 student can learn this especially for some1 like me who was put in SEN back in 2ndary sch. if the equation is a division like say for example “/x^2”, does the indicie “-2” bcs of the “2” in “/x^2” if yk what i mean?
Really confused on how the subtraction sign on the last question of where it’s x + 1 - 6x^-1 turns into an addition sign when he differentiates it (turns into 1 + 6x^-2 instead of 1 - 6x^-2)
this made me understand 2 hours of my math class which I struggled to learn
Me too,thx so much
SAAAMEEEE

You need a certificate. Keep on attending classes
Literally. I have a few minutes to a test and my lecturer literally did nothing.
waite u guys do this in university mad we do it in year 11
This is what’s happening to me as well😢
Love that you provide so many examples for us to see how it works, many of the videos on RUclips just give explanation without examples and it's hard to understand.
4 pages of math explained in the first 3 minutes. thank you!
💀💀💀💀
I love how simple this explanation is yet it's so much better than the hour-long lectures filled with nonsense
THIS MAN JUST HELPED ME WITHIN THE FIRST 5 SECONDS Y’ALLLL THANKS

Worth watching in Engineering
Just skipped class recently I started to regret it but nvm this is beyond amazing love it love it thank you
You are my saviour
Y u skipped it , what if u never found out this video . 😂😂😂

This is the best and the most understandable video in integration I've ever watched 😌😌
U absolute icon for this. Never stop
I normally don't comment on videos, but this video is absolutely amazing. Very helpful and clear and concise explanation of differentiation. Thank You so much!
Clear and easy-to-follow explanation, Thanks!

you made this sound so simple thank you
Thanks so much this was helpful... I'm preparing ahead of next semester... keep it up I just subscribed.. love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
me too, good luck!

After 4 years this is really helpful. Thank you😌
My first AS/A-level revision.
3/7/24
im starting a level maths next year and this is really helpful thanks :)
This video is very easy to understand. Exellent presentation. Clear word choicing and voice. A full list of relevant examples. Thank you very much.
8x⁰ is 8 not 0, check the third example at the beginning
This just saved me a lot of struggle.... Love this
Extremely helpful; much appreciated!!
This is so helpful in terms of understanding differentation efficiently. Big thanks and respect to you!
I just want to say thanks a bunch for such a fantastic introduction video on differentiation!
Thanks a lot!!! It really helped me !
Yup it really did👌👍.. It was so confusing when I looked up at my MATHS textbook
Ive done this at a level. In 2nd year uni rn failing miserably but this video brings me hope again because i forgot this stuff.
Superb!! I picked this up in seconds.
Wait, this is A-level!? We have to learn it for igcse!
Not A-level
We were taught this in IGCSEs
yes i did this for Edexcel IGCSE Maths too and Venn diagram notations and trig graph transofrmation
It's not there IGCSE Mathematics 0580
Its in AS level Pure Mathematics
@@themuslim1744 I'm taking IGCSE Mathematics 0580 and differentiation is covered
This is in o level a math
if i pass my maths test tomorrow, i'll come back and suscribe! great video, lets hope i remember it
Thank you so so much for this! Made me understand differentiation
Thank you for this video it has help my child to get A in maths
You are realllyyy amazing 🤩! You make me understand very well…! Which I was not able to understand during my classes!
Wow......you explain very well....l literally love u
Hey. At 12:45, how isn't it positive or negative one since we have 1/ (1)^0.5?
ur right since 1 / root1 can be 1/ +-1 which is naturally +-1 so his error not urs
because always when we power 1 to anything it is one
(1)^-0.5 is the same as 1/1^2. Since 1x1=1, it becomes 1/1 = 1
very helpful thanks helped me revise for my IGCSE
Bro thanks to u I got it now 😊😊😊
me tooo bro
I cannot thank you enough for this video!!!
worth watching in 10th class
superb explanation
thanks
thank you so much Maths Genie, im going to get >50 marks in maths
Thanks alot i actually took the shortest time understanding this and i also enjoyed doing the calculations
Going into Year 11, was so so worried about this but man, you legenddddd :D
thanks, u're v good at explaining and this helped me a lot :)
this video really helped me. thanks a lot
Impressive. Learnt a lot in just a few minutes
im very bad at maths, im watching this at last minute please i hope i pass😭😭🥲 or im so ded
Perfect video thank you!
well actually this was really helpfull for me to understand the introduction of differentiation
worth watching, am impressed
This is Superb! Keep up the Good Work.
I'm only in year 9 and this helped me to do A level Differentiation Polynomials 👍🏽
Swldn's Story good for you
@@Shoki6304 Ikk It's good 4 me 👍🏽😒
Great video, perfect introduction to differentiation.
What if you divide by an integer, for example, y=(x^2 +x -6)/3
Also what if you divide by an integer AND algebra, for example y=(x^2 +x -6)/3 + 2x
Thank you so much!
This help me a lot!
Thanks alot brother. Love from Pakistan

You are superb
thank You from korea!
u explained it so well thank you I completely understand it now
Informatory!!! and thank you very much...
Thanks a lot man!
This was really helpful...
So I'm in year 7 (grade 6) and my friend group and I decided that year 7s knowing differentiation was hilarious. This video is amazing for that.
lmaooo well done
Wow thanks alot I really understand the lesson 😃😃😃
WHOO-HOO you DID ir mate !! you demystefied it and showed us the way to the TOP,,1,000 thanx.. very much appreciated it. a 5 Star job !!
Thank you for helping me.
Thank you very much. It was really understandable ❤🙏
Really confused on how the subtraction sign on the last question of where it’s x + 1 - 6x^-1 turns into an addition sign when he differentiates it (turns into 1 + 6x^-2 instead of 1 - 6x^-2)
Ah nvm it was negative multiplied by negative therefore positive.
thank you, i can now go to canada
this is great, thank you, do you offer tuition ? i am stuck on some of these such as i = (4t^3 - 2t + 3)^3 not sure where to take this one ??
I'm learning this too
Super bro but f(x) and division I didn't understand.
But explanation awesome
Awesome 👌🆒️
Nice introduction,, 🙏
just wondering how does -6/x equal to -6x^-1 help?? (last question)
Yeah they mean the same thing.
2^-1 = 1/2
Maybe revise the rules of indices before starting differentiation or you will get mixed up on the questions.
This isnt on maths genie website
At 6:21 example 1. How can when you take the minus with the 2 then multiply by minus 3.
Thank you good sir !
Woww!! I literally understood this !! Tf.. damn you good!
thank you for the explanation
great video!
Thank you so much !!!!! u r the besttttt
Thanks man you're the best
Do you have anymore videos on Integration. Im looking for examples of definite integrals and also division. Thanks
www.mathsgenie.co.uk/newalevel.html
Woow🤝wonderful
what if i substitute x=1 in the question before solving it then i solve it after substituting my x=1 in it can it work or its wrong
Yes!!!
Excellent video.
I fucking love you!!!
Thank YOU
Thank you soo much
Thank you 😊
In 12:42 how is it one if it’s to the power of -1/2
I love this
love it
Omg this is so helpful
