First, I want to say that you are a very beautiful and elegant lady and I am very sorry if I don.t write correct in english, but I am from Eastern Europe, Romania. I like your Smell expensive on a buget series and the ones with affordable perfumes as an alternative to expensive ones. Like many other subscribes my biggest problem and also request to a perfum it's its longevity! I know that there are ladies who prefer discreet fragrances, but I personally want to be able to smell/feel my perfume as long as possible. I know that u have videos about spring lasting fragrances and I wanna ask you to do a video about summer lasting ones (if u have one I probably haven't seen it). I belive that the biggest challenge is to create a long lasting summer perfume. It is easier to create a winter lasting one. I see now that I wrote here a novel :)) Please, accept both my congratulations and again my appologies for my writing mistakes.

When I visited Oahu, The Turtle Bay Resort had this absolutely beautiful aroma throughout the entire hotel that I still chase but can’t find… 😂🤷♀️ On that note, that would a cool idea to make a compilation of fragrances that could remind of a luxurious spa or resort… Just a thought ☺️😇
I absolutely adore Blanch Bete and I'd place it in my top 3 must haves for life. The moment I smelled it I had to own it. I completely agree that it's incredibly unique and unlike anything else I've ever smelled. Your description is the best I've heard. The milkiness with the other notes creates something magical.

Great video, as usual! Strangely enough, I don't really enjoy super long lasting scents. I like switching up my fragrances in the evening (and sometimes mid-day!) so I prefer mine to last only 4-6 hours. I think I'm in the minority there! LOL! That said, I do love L'Interdit Intense, Santal Austral and Oud Satin Mood. I just have to spray super-duper lightly when I wear them. 😊

These are all so beautiful! My husband absolutely loves Santal Ruby! I’ve sprayed it downstairs and he can smell it upstairs and he always asks what did I spray. I finally picked up Casablanca. I’m so late to the party.😂 Woke up to 28 degrees this morning. Perfect for many of these scents.
Yesterday I actually was testing Oud satin mood against another perfume to compare them, and for some reason I decided to go sit on my deck with lots of blankets even though it was only 5° above freezing 😂😂 and when I came back inside, the other perfume was barely there, while Oud satin mood was unchanged, unbothered.. it really didn’t care that I almost froze it to death, it kept on performing and lasted up until bedtime! 😅

It's a note I thought I didn't like until I realized I am just picky about how it is in individual fragrances. Love the dry cigar leaf smell but dislike the second hand smoke cigarette style of note. I am only like 10 1/2 min in, but before I forget, I wanted to ask if you’ve tried Sora Dora Brocéliande? Your description of Unknown Pleasures made me think of it. It opens with super photorealistic citruses. We’ve all smelled a ton of frags with citrus notes, but this is something special. I get juice, zest and rind in all its tart and bitter glory, along with a fresh grated ginger and a touch of cardamom. Then the rum comes in followed by the gourmand notes (caramel, vanilla, cinnamon) and just a touch of very well judged funk. I don’t personally smell sesame, but I know you like a sesame note and there is one in there. A fragrance friend sent me the Sora Dora sample set recently and Brocéliande blew my mind. I am still working through trying them all on skin, but I really love Mandorle too. I am excited to wear Orchidee Rouge next. Anyway, I really need to get my nose on Unknown Pleasures lol.
Hi Meghan! Funny you say that….I got the sample set also and on paper….Broceliande was my absolute favorite!!! Then on skin it smelled like burned fuel plus lemon. I was utterly crushed. I want to say it’s the “funk” that did it but I was swooning on paper for that one. I liked several in the set….Mandalore is a full bottle now but Orchidee Rouge will be my next FB. ❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest nooooo! gosh skin chemistry is so wild. Mandorle actually opened with a fuel smell on my skin. It went away quickly though and became a love. I think it was the suede note, which is actually really strong on me until the drydown (which I don’t mind). I’ve had other leather accords open with a similar sort of rubbery or gasoliney smell, so I think that’s what it was. At least you didn’t have to buy THREE full bottles I suppose lol.
That hibiscus mahajad is something else. Had a little spritz on my watch strap from a sample i bought but boy i could still smell it like 4 days later, seriously 😂. I absolutely love Blanche bete, very different 🎉 I must say God of fire is probably my strongest most long lasting scent, and am enjoying wearing it the most as it gets warmer. It's delicious 😋 ❤ Delina too, stays on my clothes until I do my laundry 😂😂😂

Hello Chris, Eau du Soir by Sisley is an amazing fragrance, in Brussels, the old bourgeoisie ladies were wearing it, the real Belgian aristocracy smelled like this and I adore it. I always have it and I use it on very special occasions. It lasts forever on me and I can enjoy it all day, all night. I recently bought Paragon by Initio (a very nice wintery fragrance) and Woodoo Flowers by Atelier Oblique, also spicy and Autumnal...Sending you a hot pumpkin spice latte and a huge broccoli from my garden. The Latte is from Starbucks though llooollll

I usually like powerhouse perfumes but when I first wore Crush on Me I really didn't like it. However, I had tried it in warm weather and I sprayed too much. I like it in cold weather now, and you are right: only 2-4 sprays.
So, I have Thirty Three from Ex Idolo on my wishlist. One of the most beautiful rose oud fragrances. It's fruity and just fantastic. Lasts forever too, and no one talks about it! Also, Santal Vanille, Angel Muse, and I just got a decant of Mandorle! Was my SOTD, and it was still kicking 8 hours later!

Accento overdose is an explosive fruit amber bomb that lasts for years, and when I wore it (one spray!!) to work, all the mens were finding excuses to be in my space. Man killer for sure!
Does anyone know if MFK oud satin mood has been reformulated by any chance? Chris says it last 8 hours or more. Got a bottle this week and in 2/3 hours it became skin scent. However I do have a sample from 2019 of MFK oud satin and just one spray it lasts for hours bit this new bottle i got its only 2/3 hours.
I wore Eau du Soir this week and was raving about how long lasting it was. What a vintage gem! I also adore Sandal Ruby. I only have a decant, but I need to wear that more now that the weather is cold. Same with Atomic Rose. I have a decant, and it is a powerhouse of a rose!
Ok I got a sample of rose al dae by Gallagher. This is extremely sweet almost sickening. I can’t imagine putting 3 sprays on omg. 1 light mist maybe 😂. Love your videos though 😂❤

I don't go out often, but when I do I'm out for 10+ hours for events. So longevity is critical for those days! Last week a woman asked me what I was wearing at the end of the day at an art fair and she had me write it down! It was bond no 9 new bond st which I know you love as well! I didn't think it was particularly long lasting but apparently people could still smell me.

I am only like 10 1/2 min in, but before I forget, I wanted to ask if you’ve tried Sora Dora Brocéliande? Your description of Unknown Pleasures made me think of it. It opens with super photorealistic citruses. We’ve all smelled a ton of frags with citrus notes, but this is something special.
I get juice, zest and rind in all its tart and bitter glory, along with a fresh grated ginger and a touch of cardamom. Then the rum comes in followed by the gourmand notes (caramel, vanilla, cinnamon) and just a touch of very well judged funk. I don’t personally smell sesame, but I know you like a sesame note and there is one in there. A fragrance friend sent me the Sora Dora sample set recently and Brocéliande blew my mind. I am still working through trying them all on skin, but I really love Mandorle too. I am excited to wear Orchidee Rouge next. Anyway, I really need to get my nose on Unknown Pleasures lol.
Hi Meghan! Funny you say that….I got the sample set also and on paper….Broceliande was my absolute favorite!!! Then on skin it smelled like burned fuel plus lemon. I was utterly crushed. I want to say it’s the “funk” that did it but I was swooning on paper for that one. I liked several in the set….Mandalore is a full bottle now but Orchidee Rouge will be my next FB. ❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest nooooo! gosh skin chemistry is so wild. Mandorle actually opened with a fuel smell on my skin. It went away quickly though and became a love. I think it was the suede note, which is actually really strong on me until the drydown (which I don’t mind). I’ve had other leather accords open with a similar sort of rubbery or gasoliney smell, so I think that’s what it was. At least you didn’t have to buy THREE full bottles I suppose lol.

Hello Chris, Eau du Soir by Sisley is an amazing fragrance, in Brussels, the old bourgeoisie ladies were wearing it, the real Belgian aristocracy smelled like this and I adore it. I always have it and I use it on very special occasions. It lasts forever on me and I can enjoy it all day, all night. I recently bought Paragon by Initio (a very nice wintery fragrance) and Woodoo Flowers by Atelier Oblique, also spicy and Autumnal...Sending you a hot pumpkin spice latte and a huge broccoli from my garden. The Latte is from Starbucks though llooollll

I usually like powerhouse perfumes but when I first wore Crush on Me I really didn't like it. However, I had tried it in warm weather and I sprayed too much. I like it in cold weather now, and you are right: only 2-4 sprays.

So, I have Thirty Three from Ex Idolo on my wishlist. One of the most beautiful rose oud fragrances. It's fruity and just fantastic. Lasts forever too, and no one talks about it! Also, Santal Vanille, Angel Muse, and I just got a decant of Mandorle! Was my SOTD, and it was still kicking 8 hours later!

Does anyone know if MFK oud satin mood has been reformulated by any chance? Chris says it last 8 hours or more. Got a bottle this week and in 2/3 hours it became skin scent. However I do have a sample from 2019 of MFK oud satin and just one spray it lasts for hours bit this new bottle i got its only 2/3 hours.
