I went to my local Dollar general yesterday it's family-friendly Dollar store I picked up three action figures of jakks Pacific Sonic the hedgehog figures are cheese from Sonic the hedgehog and rooster bat and mighty Sonic who's the bat I found was listed on Amazon for 20 bucks and cheese was listed for 15 bucks and I scored these figures three of them for 15 bucks and it was awesome 😎👍

Do you feel a decline in the toy department of thrift stores? I know 80’s toys are HOT right now, it just seems like maybe those guys know what you get at the thrift stores, and either don’t put it out or buy it themselves. Was it more vast when you first started?
It was more common for sure a few years back. I think between what you said and other vintage toy hunters realizing thrift stores can hold GOLD…it’s caused the finds to thin out. I know some guys who live locally who are subscribers of my channel only started thrifting in my area after watching my videos. So competition has increased.

I've defended GW for years. I've pointed out they have overhead. That the price of retail rent is crazy. That a lot of states have upped their minimum wages so payroll is higher. But....at this point I'm done defending. I'm seeing those same ridiculous prices AND our local Buy The Pound has become a true trash heap. Because they're double picking everything over for their online sales. At some point their business model is going to have to break because they're losing their meat and potatoes regular retail customer.
That’s the problem once you start making excuses for a corporation they start taking advantage better to call it out when it starts or else it always gets out of hand. With the kind of economy we have now not even being able to turn to goodwill for good deals is real sad keeping their prices low should be a priority for them.
