The majority of you won't know that you can get super cool features way before they're released, and you can change your client legally without breaking terms of service unlike BetterDiscord. Ah yes, I remember the days where you had to be on the discord LAN to use discord development, or else you'd have to modify it to work. Nice to know it's changed and my desktop shortcut is no longer pointless!

Kind of true, but the chances of you being the only person who reported a client breaking bug, is, quite absurd. Discord will not roll out client breaking bugs in there next stable release, as it will have an extremely high chance of it being seen during canary releases and/or discord staff. Whilst a bug you may find might be extremely rare to reproduce nevermind having the user being asked to report it, but discord staff will very likely find that discrepancy in their code long before its released to stable. Discord-Testers mainly just helps with small bugs that arent discrepant enough to be prioritized by discord. A lot of bug reports are just a race to who reports it, you not reporting it isnt going to make a difference as it will already be discovered long before the stable release by another user or staff.
Whilst discord nitro may not be a lot, (assuming the user has normal nitro not classic) you are still giving £9 per month, that adds up a ton per year, many people doing so in the thousands will heavily support discord. And thats not including discord nitro classic which even more people use. So infact discord nitro does have the higher ground.

So, why isn't there anything cool with discord on phones? I'm often a phone user of discord, and I can never find a single thing cool about discord on phone. Can you please make a video on phone discord if you are able to? Over all, I really like your videos and I didn't even know these existed! I hope you have a wonderful day!
If your on android, go to appearance in your settings and press dark mode 9-10 times and a new option called "AMOLED" will show up.
Also if you press light mode 9-10 times your flashlight comes on. This is also only for android

@@saakiimarnold3969 i think it may be a reference to canaries in a mine. if there was a carbon monoxide leak, the canary would die and the miners would know to get out. in this case, bugs are caught in canary in order to fix them before they get released to the public, thus warning the techs so they can fix them
Bonnie Lee I personally just think it's because of the phrase "the early bird gets the worm" and Canary gets things far before the main client.

The Discord development used to be able only to those working at Discord (if you tried to launch it without being connected to Discord's network/VPN you'd just get an error) however now since there are features like build overrides, they made it just the same as regular Canary.

i knew about canary and ptb but not dev, damn.
The only way I knew of discord canary is because of a friend. But I could never get ahold of it bc he's polish and the way he said canary was like "culinary". Now I finally found it. Discord Canary is actually my worst nightmare because it earraped his mic.
I updated my discord and now it's discord camary, didn't know the reason, thx for making this video...
